	Received this from YouShop. I might disagree with the bit about 'competitive disadvantage' but I understand where they're coming from. Of course, if we weren't sometimes so thoroughly price-gouged we'd probably not be looking overseas for stuff anyway!

	Thought I'd offer a service to fellow members. I'm planning a road trip from Invercargill to Auckland and back in about 2 weeks. If there's any members on here that want to buy something from either end of the country, I'd be happy to take things up or bring them back down, meeting people in the main centres along the way for drop-off.
</p>

<p>
	The only conditions would be that all payments for the parts would have to be sorted ahead of time - I won't be handling money or paying for other people's parts upfront. And i'd want to be meeting people somewhere along the main route, really don't want to be detouring all over the place lol. Pick-up/drop off arrangements will be sorted ahead of time.
</p>

<p>
	Anyone interested? I'm not running a courier service so I'm not asking for money for this, just thought it might help a few people out.
</p>

	Hello, I have a question about personalised plates.
</p>

<p>
	I'm thinking about selling my car which came with a Europlate when I first purchased it but now I'm thinking about selling the car and transferring the plate to my family car.
</p>

<p>
	Would anyone know whether its a simple case of filling out a form and transferring the plate?
</p>

<p>
	I've heard somewhere that I may not actually own the plate even though I own the car.

	Thought I'd pose the question in here as there's alot of sensible people who may have been in the same predicament. A couple of weeks ago we had a wee bump in the wagon. At the time our insurance broker was confident we weren't at fault. Until yesterday. They've changed their tune, read below.<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="http://bimmersport.co.nz/uploads/monthly_2019_11/SmartSelect_20191121-083953_Email.jpg.9babdefe9c5e01eb3929db53c05db180.jpg" data-fileid="78783" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="78783" data-ratio="145.35" width="516" alt="SmartSelect_20191121-083953_Email.thumb.jpg.4978fb27a1f1230c121fa61e2351b5bf.jpg" src="http://bimmersport.co.nz/uploads/monthly_2019_11/SmartSelect_20191121-083953_Email.thumb.jpg.4978fb27a1f1230c121fa61e2351b5bf.jpg" /></a>
</p>

<p>
	I told them I was disappointed with the situation and I'd get back to them. Check out the CCTV footage below and tell me who's at fault. The van going past or the reversing wagon. Its a tough one because yes, I was the one backing out but I think they were going too fast for a parking lot.

	two close calls same day.
</p>

<p>
	1)Stopped at traffic light at front of queue wanting to turn left,indicator going.I am the LH lane which is left turn and straight ahead.The red also controls me against pedestrians.The rh lane green arrow always goes green before thestraight/left light.So my light goes green and i only ease forward as there are still people on the ped crossing.As the last ped clears the crossing i actually accelerate just as a e bike whiszzes past on my left,i just missed her.She didnt even look back i dont think she realised what had happened.
</p>

<p>
	2) going up Ngaio Gorge quite a steep road lots of bikes going up here you always pass several going up.There is a "fog line" painted about 500 mm out from the kerb a defacto bike lane.As i approach a pair of cyclists i notice that the rearmost cyclist is going quite a bit faster than the guy in front and sure enough she just pulls out into the lane proper to pass the other guy. just as i come alongside.I had anticipated this and had moved right enough to leave her room.
</p>

<p>
	the speed some of these e bikes go u p the gorge rivals a 50 cc scooter!.The mismatch of speeds with other cyclists and the parity with cars is going to cause trouble

</p>

<p>
	Aparently this was this guys first vehicle restoration, a really interesting watch, actually gets pretty entertaining as the parts go on
</p>

<p>
	not to mention the throw back sound tracks in it
</p>

<p>
	Reminds me of the good old days with e30's, angle grinders, blow torches, welding sockets onto seized bolts etc

	Hi there,
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#383838;font-size:14px;">
	really enjoying reading some of the posts here, seems to be a very active forum.  I am looking to purchase a UK Imported BMW, its pretty low Km, basically brand new, much cheaper than NZ new.  I understand that BMW provide a 2 year warranty on new cars.  Does anyone here have experience with purchasing UK imports?
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#383838;font-size:14px;">
	I have heard of a few horror stories around part not available, warranty not covering repairs, salt/corrosion issues, etc.  Any guidance or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.  Really like this car.  Thanks in advance!

	Will be heading over to amsterdam and nearby areas later on this year between 27.09 - 13.10.
</p>

<p>
	Only thing decided is the return flight from Stockholm Sweden. I havent decided where I will fly to yet, maybe Brussels, Berlin, Paris, etc. lots of options. (waiting for good deals to pop up for tickets)
</p>

<p>
	Any recommendations on places to go/visit?
</p>

<p>
	Only requirement from the trip is need to spend 5 days in Amsterdam, otherwise totally free to travel anywhere around.
</p>

	Im in need of a 240V compressor, something that just works and can spit out enough air for occasional home gamer
</p>

<p>
	Have a metric shed load of air tools from previous life, drills/diegrinders/hammers etc.
</p>

<p>
	Its not going to get a daily use, so dont want to blow a lot of cash on it, something thats on wheels so I can throw it outside the shed when being used, and stored inside.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Any suggestions?
