The dealership wanted to take out my radio and install hardware to get NZ stations on my 525i import at quite a cost, but Promo was able to do it fast and at a excellent rate with his knowledge of coding without having to install or remove any hardware. Give him a shout if you need some coding done!

<p>Hi Guys</p>
<p>
Are there any e30 333i in New Zealand?</p>
<p>
they were ex South africa - only produced in 85-87 and limited numbers.</p>
<p>
I think they came in red, white, black and silver.</p>
<p>
What do you guys think this car is worth in NZ?</p>

	Which year and model do I need to start with when looking for a 1 series with a proper screen (w/touch?), NZ nav and Android auto integration? Not interested in Apple integration. Do any come with HUD's?

<p>
	Also, what 1 series should/must be avoided? Has to be low maintenance, does not need to be 300bhp.

<p>
	Am considering a new/another daily and everything from BMW "above" the 1 series is simply too large for me.

	I'm only about 25% serious on the idea as the beater still does the job but I've jut secured a new role with mo' money and dreams are free right?

	Greetings guys i have noticed my 540I has been using coolant.
</p>

<p>
	it came up with a low coolant level warning 2 months ago, (first time in over a year of ownership) i dont do huge mileage just a few 200 km trips so , probably covered around 600 KMs over the last two months. It came up with a low coolant level warning again this morning and it took around 1 litre to fill again. I haven't seen any water on the floor anywhere as i think the leak is really slight.
</p>

<p>
	i have removed the  cover underneath and i can see a slight weep from a thin plastic mount that mounts the transmission oil cooler. i think i have finally found what the part is called.:it appears to be a  Radiator Mounting Plate for Auto Trans Oil Cooler and Thermostat. It looks as if coolant might run through this as it appears to have a seam and there is a slight drip coming off it at the bottom . Is there coolant going through this or am i barking up the wrong tree? see pictures, it is possible the leak might be from above, gravity being what it is although the rest of it seems to be really dry and only the end facing the road appears to be wet. Does anyone have any idea?  Thanks for your help!

	Hi team. I’m just trying to solve the problem with my E46 320i M54B22 and the engine light came on. I’ve scanned the codes and there’s a bank 1 and 2 fuel bank trim and also all six cylinder misfiring. I’ve had my air intake boots replaced and all the vacuum lines are replaced as well, no leaking from valve cover as I’ve replaced one this week. O2 sensors are quite new as well. The car doesn’t stall or idle rough either. My guess is could be a CCV system failure which I’m going to replace them very shortly but I just want to ask for your opinion of what else causes to all cylinder misfiring? Please and thank you very much in advance.

<p>
	Looking for another car for the wife and a E91 touring 320d (build date 8/11) looks good.  Been doing some research into the potential problems of the E91 and found lots of information on timing chain failures on the N47 engine.  The car I'm interested in has a N47T engine but I can't find out much about the reliability and its  resistance to the timing chain issue.  Anyone know about these engines?

	Hi everyone. I'm trying to fix the central locking on my e39 530i year 2001.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I had few issues with locking the car since when I bought it from the dealer.
</p>

<p>
	First of all, infrared remote key does not work at all even though after multiple attempt to re-initialize the remote key.
</p>

<p>
	Secondly, the physical key on driver side did not lock or unlock, the key actually did not turn on both ways.
</p>

<p>
	Only the central locking worked when you are inside the car just about to drive and use the central locking button.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	At the moment, I'm trying the conversion from infrared remote to radio frequent remote.
</p>

<p>
	I've made 2 new keys (radio frequent 433mhz) and have immobilizer programmed.
</p>

<p>
	Also replaced the antenna amplifier with 433mhz and also did the new wiring towards pin 13 of X332 and fuse 6.
</p>

<p>
	And the most important part of all, the driver side door key issue. I have replaced the new key housing and swapped the key cylinder.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The driver side door now can lock and unlock, but does not lock and unlock the other 3 doors (central locking).
</p>

<p>
	Also the remote key on both infrared (x1) and radio frequent keys (x2) does not initialize with remote central locking.
</p>

<p>
	I can still lock and unlock all the doors from inside the car using the central locking button.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	And I scanned the car and here are the fault codes I've got...
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	2 Fuse or lead for load circuit 2
</p>

<p>
	93 Central-locking drive, driver's door
</p>

<p>
	94 Central-locking drive, passenger's door
</p>

<p>
	1 Fuse or lead for load circuit 1
</p>

	Any help or advice much appreciated!

<p>
	The resilience of Bimmersport to still be chugging along today, is a testament to our passionate members, the still dedicated admins, and a number of very important individuals.  It really proves that there is value here for enthusiastic bmw owners and that this site deserves to have some life breathed back into it. There is an immense amount of information in the archives and there is still an active member base, although not as active as it once was.

<p>
	Unfortunately the current owners, Andrew and myself can't give bimmersport the attention that it deserves, and haven't been able to for some time. Therefore I'm interested to hear from anyone who is keen to take over the running of the site, or interested in buying it. It requires a leader who can dedicate time and effort into re-establishing bimmersport as the best online car community in New Zealand.

	What a plonker, seem that after looking at some photos my car doesn't have key cylinder on the passenger's side .
</p>

<p>
	<s>Hi guys </s>
</p>

<p>
	<s>As some of you may know, I have been removing all the hardware from my old door to transfer into my new door.</s>
</p>

<p>
	<s>The last part to be removed was my door handle, I placed it on the bench. (face down) along with all the other parts.</s>
</p>

<p>
	<s>Spent a bit off time contemplating the reinstall.</s>
</p>

<p>
	<s>Then decided to first give all the parts a good clean and relube.</s>
</p>

<p>
	<s>Picked up my door handle only to notice the key Cylinder was missing  <span class="ipsEmoji">😠</span></s>
</p>

<p>
	<s>Can the cylinder just fall out  ?</s>
</p>

	Looking to see what oil others are using in their S50B32s. With all due respect, if you don't own one, haven't owned one or are not an oil expert, please don't speculate. There's so much back and forth on the whole 5W-40 vs 10W-60 debate and I'm looking for a more definitive answer. Thanks in advance! <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="http://bimmersport.co.nz/profile/14-m3an/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="14" href="http://bimmersport.co.nz/profile/14-m3an/" rel="">@M3AN</a> <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="http://bimmersport.co.nz/profile/2197-sweetm3/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="2197" href="http://bimmersport.co.nz/profile/2197-sweetm3/" rel="">@sweetm3</a> what do you use?

	Looking to get a set of these
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://www.rmeuropean.com/Products/11367548459-MFG17.aspx?LineItemId=80ca6093-f91a-494c-b467-2e353b3017dc" rel="external nofollow">https://www.rmeuropean.com/Products/11367548459-MFG17.aspx?LineItemId=80ca6093-f91a-494c-b467-2e353b3017dc</a>
</p>

<p>
	Anyone got a set I could buy,
</p>

<p>
	Or could i piggy back on someones up and coming order? It's no rush, so thought i might ask
</p>

<p>
	Didn't really want to buy the set off amazon after being scarred for life with the last CCV, and the shipping alone just isn't worth it for those tiny things.
