To me the RHD conversion devalues the car. Means a lot of non-M3 parts were used to complete it. If you're asking drug money for a car like this it needs to be completely original and unmolested. Good luck to the seller -IMO at this price you would be buying it as a very long term investment to make any sort of worthwhile return on your money.

Hi everyone, Thought we'd join up here since we now have a couple of e39s. We love these cars. We think that they are the best looking BMWs ever and that Chris Bangle is the prince of darkness We got into these cars a couple of years ago after buying a white 1997 520i for no other reason than it was cheap and looked nice. Didn't even need it - already had 4 vehicles. Fast forward to today and we have just added a metallic black 2003 530i Msport to the fleet for the wife. We knew what we were after it just took some time for the right car to come up. 130,000km, leather, full documented service history and not least of all - NO sunroof!! We now have 6 vehicles and tempted to add a 540i manual 6 speed to the fleet. Would keep the 520i though as a runabout and garage the others to keep km down - maybe take em out on nice days. Look forward to learning from and maybe meeting some of you Sandy

I was looking to do it to move away from the caRb in my 320/6 e21. This was by far the best information I found http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/index.php/Converting_to_Motronic_1.3

This one pulled dyno figures that suggests BMW have understated both kW and Nms to avoid upsetting e90 m3 owners. If my memory serves me right it's not far off current M3 numbers and this one is standard. Was highest numbers for the day .

This seems like a bargain for what it is? Very high on the "want but cant afford" list. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-1054027676.htm Im sure i also saw a grey one pop up the other day too, but that seems to be gone already.

Owner should buy a lotto ticket if he gets 170k for it. Looks like rear shocks are billies and the fronts aren't?

If it's worth doing, do it properly. For about $10k, I'll get you a headers-back Akrapovic titanium system.

WIthout the CSL wheels... WTF? Why would you put the non-CSL M3 wheels on it. I think the genuine CSL wheels are still available, but not cheap. CSET should buy it to put his wheels on it and make it all complete!!

I got my BMW mobility kit for about $160 from team mcmillan. I looked at a continental one for similar money but it looked to be a one shot deal
