    Nice car, although I may be biased! Pretty much a twin of my one. I replaced the interior wood trim with silver trim from my old sedan and the wider rear rims as the tourings aren't staggered. Also I think the genuine m sport front bumpers are around $1200 from memory, we had one replaced via insurance after someone backed into us.

    Don isn't a member here but he's a good friend of my friends father. A real BMW enthusiast! He also has a really clean 635csi and E46 M3. I have mentioned this forum to him but I guess it's not for him. +1 on the price, seems steep.

    You will need to replace all four. While you are in there check the diff bushes and the trailing arms too. Maybe someone who is familiar with the e39 could chime in with the usual wear items and things to look for on the e39 rear axle. I've only worked on e36 and e46 suspension.

    Yeah weld to the strut tube. Doesn't hurt to find a certifier you want to use and talk to him about what your doing too
