Hi Guys, I'm the lucky owner - my gut said this was a unique opportunity to pick up an unmolested E30 Touring. The seller picked it up for ~9.5k around 12 months ago and has probably spent ~2k on it tidying it up, so thought the price was fair. Keen to bring it along to a meet soon! Should arrive in Auckland next week.

Interestingly, theres been quite a lot of negative facebook commentary about the price the current owner is asking. I think people forget it takes killing / using a damaged M3 to make one of these, So automatically it's at least 25k worth going by regular M3 coupe prices. A decent E46 late model touring is generally close to 10k worth, rougher ones are cheaper of course. Then you have the time to sort the M3 body panels and paint them, that looked to be very well done and would have cost a fair bit of coin if you were to try replicate it. Electrics, coding, and fine tuning of everything transferred over to the touring chassis isn't a 5 minute job, especially to get everything working like it's a factory car. Other stuff like the physical work changing parts, subframe work, exhaust work, all the suspension installed, certification too. You need to have experience with BMWs to do such a build properly, not many people in the country could pull it off. It's up to the owner to find the price they want anyway, given the above I think he'd get close to the asking price with the right buyer that sees it for what it is.

2007 Z4M coupe, not just a z4 with "M sport" a real M car just under 75000 miles (120,000km) will go up a little bit as I like to take it out in good weather. UK NEW car but imported here which i brought over myself as i didnt want to sell up when I left, I've owned since Nov 2014, its an occasion everytime you drive it they don't make them like this anymore, for those who dont know there was 4507 made worldwide and just under 1054 ish RHD coupes, 3.2 s54, 343hp (255kw) CSL front brakes, upgraded mangement system, proper hydraulic steering, faster steering ratio, all standard Full service history with documentation to prove so, last service being at Bellars at 74000 miles ish, had full oil service and all brand new spark plugs. Tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1 2 good tread all round, brakes wont need replacing for a while. Has NZ maps and updates too. Receipts to prove work done Only mods: Eventuri CAI (real carbon fibre, great induction noise), genuine ZHP gear knob, Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs as a OEM replacement as I wanted to replace standard as they made the car pitch to much , these make the car more planted in the corners and genuine E9X m3 18" wheels, genuine BMW strut brace, billet exhaust hangers Few honest bad bits Some wear on drivers bolster, few marks on steering wheel, few stone chips etc but nothing major I have had bumper resprayed, bonnet, wing mirrors in my ownership Car has to be seen to be appreciated Looking for $39,000k or a very close offer I need this car gone this month (end of May) so make me an offer the sooner it goes the less I stress. Car is a good investment as these are going up in value, I will be buying another asap Can test drive if you have proof of funds etc 022 370 1910

Some of y'all will know, others will have seen, but our recent trip to the South Island was to collect a car for Mrs M. A mid-1990 ex-South Africa Baur 325i. We'd had it checked over by a friend in Dunedin and while certainly not perfect, it was substantially a good car, so we flew down and were met at a very sunny Dunedin Airport by the seller. My chance to drive and check over, find a few more things that need sorting, pay some money and start our trip towards home. First stop - Oamaru. On the way up I noticed a quite pronounced shake through the steering wheel, and Beaurepairs in Oamaru found one wheel was 50g (!) out of balance. That'll do it. They also noticed that while we had a matching set of tyres in terms of manufacturer and model, the fronts were a different profile to the rears. While in Oamaru I checked the toolkit: There's something you don't see every day. From Oamaru to Lake Brunner via some scenic roads: And an overnight stop at Moana. Awesome place to stop. Not cheap, but great hospitality, location, food, wine... Aldamere Lodge. After that, it all gets to be a bit of a blur. Lake Brunner to east of Picton via Greymouth, stopping in Greymouth to replace the front tyres with some that were the correct size. Made a noticeable difference. North up the coast towards Westport, stopping at Pancake Rocks, then across south of Nelson to Waikawa Bay where we stayed at the Buccaneer Lodge. Cheap, cheerful, and would go back. Nice scenery for dinner, too. The following day we had a quick tour 'round some wineries and got the boat to Wellington where we stayed with friends, before joining Andy and the southern convoy heading for Taupo and the E30 Megameet.

My ex 325i was Delphine Metallic. Loved that colour, so much better than than your typical BMW 3 choice line up. Yep you can get diff thickness pads for the rear (5-15mm)

Good ole Facebook, where all the keyboard warriors come out to throw shade at something they could never buy... it’s a cool car. If it’s over priced the seller will have to meet the market. In the meantime, I’m just happy to see the pictures and be happy for whomever will buy it!

The seller is a good friend of mine. It's a hell of a car, super pedantic owner, he is super fussy with everything that is fitted/maintained etc.

Thre may be a thread about this car already but a quick search didn't throw anything up. https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1471669184&archive=1 1 Bidder, sold for 11,990.00. Not a dig at seller or buyer (well done to both) btw, just wondered if this was indicative of an unmolested example with service history etc. My insurance renewal just came up. Maybe I'm a little underinsured...

Yes such a model does exist, was a South African build for the SA market during the days of apartheid restrictions. They were able to do some very cool sh*t with their models. Added quite a few "go faster" bits to the M Tech II 325i to come up with a fantastic little car, not many built either and have become quite collectable now. Definately a very nice car, and in very good condition from the photos, but that price is well up there, into E30 M3 money. I know which one I would buy and which one will probably increase in value the most.
