Hit up BNT (and ask for trade) the prices RRP from whiteline etc were way more than what I paid at the time as well.

the links have no effect on the swaybar stiffness at all, what matters is the strength of the bar (basically the diameter) and the distance between the pivot point (the mounts on the car) and the attachment point for the links, the longer that distance the less torsion on the bar for the same amount of wheel travel. You will see adjustable sway bars have 3 or more sets of holes to bolt the links to which changes their distance from the pivot point and therefore the effectiveness of the bar. The Z3 bar will be designed to work with the Z3 suspension geometry, i think it will be a waste of time fitting it to the E30, which probably has quite different geometry.

When I bought whitelines for mine, they were like $300 for front and rear from BNT at trade (cheap as chips)

No I personally think the 330e is they way to go, more range of electric. Plug in hybrid. Lighter due to the motor configuration and power output being aligned to 330. where as the 335, 535 hybridactive are not plug in. Discontinued 335i hybrid after 2015 for the 330e only. We drove a 535 ActiveHybrid and it was bearly noticeable in changing between power and petrol drive train. Was very nice, Trouble is with the extra weight, you mitigate most of the savings of the hybrid so it was a what’s the point discussion. Although most ActiveHybrids come in great spec as well. BMW seemed to throw the kitchen sink at them. downside of the 330e, big price tag. My take is if you want pure performance then 335/ 340 Petrol, commute - good performance and driving in E lanes, 330e.

Changing to a thicker bar will be pointless if the 'arms' are longer, the bar may end up feeling 'softer' as it is not working as hard because of the longer arms. Surely Whiteline or someone does an uprated bar to fit? That would be your best bet.

Order turned up from FCP today. Only 7 days shipping! Over Easter also. Only thing I'm annoyed about is the condition of the cabin filter (pelican seem to package better, not writing FCP off however). Will give them a quick email and see what happens. Thanks to Zero for the heads up!

You watch. It'll turn up on your doorstep and the tracking doofer will still say "In transit".

HI All, So while we wait for the theme to be fixed, there is a way around this for firefox & chrome users. Here is a very simple Greasemonkey Script to adjust the background color of the website. // ==UserScript== // @name Correct Bimmersport Background // @version 1 // @description Change the background colour of the bimmersport forum // @include http://bimmersport.co.nz/ document.body.style.background = "#e1e1e1"; // ==/UserScript== In Firefox you will need to install the greasemonkey extension ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/ ), and then create a new script, and copy and paste the script above into it, then save the script, reload the bimmersport page and presto your bimmersport user experiance has been improved. In Chrome install the tampermonkey extension ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tampermonkey/dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo?hl=en ) , and follow the process above. I have tested both of these and they work as advertised. There are extensions for greasemonkey script support for IE, and potentially other browsers, but i haven't tried them at all. *Greasemonkey scripts allow you to adjust the contents of web pages being displayed in your browser. They do not affect the page views for any other users, and only affect the browser that they are installed in. I am no sure if there is support for browsers on cellphones. When the theme is corrected you will need to remove the script to get the new color. NOTE if your a novice do not modify the script above as you may affect other websites.

Ballsy project, one of those save myself 7k if sucess or cost myself extra 7k if fail I imagine. I feel like I'm in the stone age digging sand and rust out of my E30 and M20 while you dabble in stuff that wouldn't look out of place on a space shuttle.
