Looks beaut - agree on the colour scheme. For some collectors Alpinas are the bee's knees - typically rarer than M cars.

Took the 'vert on the BMWCC run down to Port Waikato. Lovely day for it and a great drive to a cool cafe. After an issue with one of the tyres on the Alpina rims presented a problem and required a last minute swap of all 4 wheels and tyres over to my race rims everything ran smoothly. One hundred and fourty mile round trip in good weather and never missed a beat, very relieved and very happy. Did more miles in one day than over the last three or four years. I do really need to use this car more.

It is with great sadness that I must part with this half completed project. Loads of money spent on it, but obviously still work to do - over $15k spent or more 186k km new parts: Genuine LuK clutch, flywheel, release fork, bearings, metal pivot ect - everything needed and more when you drop the gearbox. gearbox selector indent springs all brand new and replaced with BMW items new engine mounts, gearbox mounts, rear trailing arm bushing Brand new subframe carrier bushing also including front differential mount new idler and tensioner and idler bearings New Alternator installed Newly rebuilt SMG pump new exhaust hanger rubber new sump gasket new power steering hose New Carbon fibre engine cover Genuine M3 csl aluminium lower control arm (spherical bearing) - very rare Full M3 CSL front brakes 345mm with CSL specific brake pads (NLA) Runs M3 CSL DME setup without airbox (ie standard airbox) CSL SMG control module Genuine near new (fresh rebuilt in Germany a few years back) KW 2 Ways competition shocks and springs (two sets for semi and slicks) plus additional brand new front spare shocks - adjusters ect all included near mint standard M3 leather interior (Car will be reverted back to stock M3 interior) Alcantara Steering wheel Genuine LED rear tail lights (sought after!!) BMW NZ strengthened rear subframe floor with Redish plates - fully welded and primed (we did not install sound underseal as the original intention was to turn the car into a racecar) UK imported rear GTR subframe strengthening brace bar - picks up rear subframe points and braced against the tower. FULLY certified for rear floor strengthening and coilovers - other items do not require certification as they are OE equipment. Full main dealer service history also This is a well sorted car with all the hard work already done (of course there are more that needs doing so I am not making this out to be a maintenance free car!!!) for eg I’ve yet to tackle any of the engine and vanos related stuff but they are easy items and don’t cost a lot to do. SOLD ps paint does need some tlc!!! It didnt bother me when I got it but no rust, just peeling clear and lot of fading - it need repainting to be honest. Priced to reflect paint condition. Car on Stock OE 19s with good condition Continental Tyres 2 keys!

Brand new Karbonius CSL carbon door panel inserts in 1x1 carbon weave. I can honestly say these are as good if not better than the genuine article. Perfect fitment and weave pattern and stronger construction than the real thing. Made of Prepreg carbon vacuum packed and autoclave cured. Very strong. ***BARE CARBON DOOR INSERT PANELS ONLY *** ****NO door handles or door cards included**** NO mounting hardware included*** - ALL YOU GET ARE THE CARBON PANEL INSERTS WITHOUT THE GENUINE CSL DOOR HANDLES SEEN IN THE PHOTOS**** The weave on these are so good that if you placed a genuine CSL door panel next to it you would struggle to tell them apart - see last photo illustrating this. These are not off the shelf items and are made to order only from karbonius. Very rare. Genuine CSL door panels are $8000 EACH!! So it?s $32,000 just for the door panels - And there are none in stock at all. $3000 firm. Compared to the genuine csl panel (front bare panel pictured below is a really old genuine csl carbon door panel - has slight yellowing already) as you can see the Karbonius (the rear panel - top one) is a perfect match

Hi All, New to the group but I used the page and forums extensively to help me decide on my purchase of my e82 135i. My old man has had an e30 320i Baur edition for some time. It got a full engine, suspension and brake over haul last year and it got me inspired to get my own 6 cylinder bmw. With a work Ute for personal use my bm of choice didnt need to be practicle and my teenage years thrashing my Toyota Levin to and from the family Bach in Whangamata left me wanting to get back into a chuckable 2 door coupe. The reseach and trademe hunting began. It would be nice to find some thing NZ new with a service history but I realized they were pretty few and far between and the jap import stuff was often better specd. Soon I was test driving, 130i hatch with the 6speed auto, a couple of 335i one of which I didn’t even make it off the the dealers lot with engine lights on and only 5 cylinders firing from start up, serveral 135i and the later m135i in manual, auto, dct, n54 and n55. Eventually the hydraulic steering, engine and turbo noises and useabilty of the dct n55 had me focused on finding a good condition later model jap import e82 135i to fit my budget and one did! I wasn’t a big fan of the alloys it had on it but the dealer sorted this out along with Bluetooth, NZ nav and radio unlock, an autosure mechanical warranty and had it ready for me just before Christmas. 3000km of smile inducing trouble free motoring done so far. So thanks to all that post here it was a great help in in leading me to what has been a very happy purchase and I look forward to contributing to the group going forward. Cheers.

I like this - probably as much as an F10 M5 and more than a 535D. Seems reasonably priced given the performance and km. I wouldn't get the deco-set stripes or the fussy front lip if I were ordering new though. I wonder where it's come from - RHD but kph speedo and diesel is an unusual combo - Singapore perhaps? https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1945379589

Peugeot 206 GTI 180? Usually can find a mint low K one for around 5k. 2 litre 180hp manual hot hatch with Rally heritage! See: https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/peugeot/auction-1944089644.htm?rsqid=030844ea16ae45c38c831c9032fd2242

The ride height screams douche bag to me... best to stay away haha. Surely sorting out those white leather seats in sad condition would be a priority over any other modifications!? I guess not...

My E36 318ti (316i) cost me 2k. Its manual, handles great (on low springs) and is comfortable (mtec seats) and is great with the sunroof and good stereo. Handles way better than any of my coupes or sedans in the same variant. 110hp is enough for a first car. Heaps of fun.

The correct water is $6 for 10 litres from the supermarket, no real reason not to use it IMO.

Took a few shots of the M3 whilst at Ruapuna today. The Landrover is ours too. Threw in a few other random photos from what was a great day. I have only ever been to the Skope Classic but I find it fantastic that you can wander all over the pits and talk to the owners, look over their cars, ask questions etc. Amazing. Thrown in a few other random photos from what was a great day.
