I’ve figured it out. MFM means MotherF******Monster. ? 16.2L/100kms on a drive to Oakura Bay via Old Russell Road. Superb road. No such thing as a straight. No traffic at all which was a bonus. Get to drive past the Russian’s place at Helena Bay.

Hi all About a month ago I picked up a 2009 E91 335i LCI in alpine white! Loving it so far. Relatively high kms at 150,000 but it's a dream to drive with no noisy turbos/wastegates or any other funny noises. It's getting tinted this week and I have a charge pipe kit which I will match with a k&n drop in filter. Then potentially MHD stage one and Aplina transmission flash if anyone can help with this?

Finished and picked up this arvo, looks damn good That floor ain’t tearing no more. Swapped on the e9x 18’s for a bit. Next up, try not to break anything for a while.. So far in the last couple of months I have a freshly built diff, driveshaft bits replaced and balanced, whole lot of welding and plating and new reinforcement for the rear. That’s enough for a while methinks.

This is one of the better thread derailments in recent memory To the OP, stop driving a turbo six. Take the train. But only if its got good occupancy, is locally assembled, the driver is paid a living wage and has good conditions... and make sure its not one of them filthy diesels.

I would like to see our leaders - regardless of which party or coalition is in power - to simply introduce emmissions testing as part of the WoF regime, and legislation to prevent disabling emmissions control systems for street cars. If the cats really are restrictive, source a high-performance cat. Those in the first world with sensible emissions controls in place, are still able to chase the joy of high performance combustion engines without disregard for their fellow citizens. We can stay redneck, and third world... though eventually we'll need to grow up. We could even do it before we're forced to.

Don't be a pussy. Rip out the cats, they're a choke on the system and probably aren't doing a lot after so many years.

So I ended up doing a bit of work on the missus car this weekend, New CVT transmission, new brake pads, rotors etc But lacking a G-clamp of all things, and had issues compressing with leverage alone between rotors and old pads - I had to dig deep with innovation Thought some might find this funny, if not down right legendary This weighed 15kg however, bloody heavy to lug up there !

If you wanted to incorporate an arm workout into a brake job then its not a bad idea. If you wanted to skip the most of the workout but still remain a rugged kiwi then a longish flat blade screw driver would have been the better option.

Famous around the world for the car that appeared and used in our music video for Antiform - Crash. Big thanks to HellBM for that!
