Right, been meaning to update this lol, still have yet to book accommodation, however the itinerary so far is: Leaving Invercargill on Friday the 6th, staying in Timaru overnight. Saturday I will be passing through Christchurch, collecting some stuff from @OP6 that is destined to be delivered to @Herbmiester at some stage (flick me a pm and we'll sort a day/address etc. that I can drop them off to you). Ferry from Picton to Wellington on the 7th, then driving overnight to Auckland. I'll be staying in Auckland until the morning of the 11th, then heading back to Wellington (@Olaf this is probably the best time to catch up for a beer if you and some locals wanna do so?). Wellington overnight on the 11th, ferry back across the ditch on the 12th and straight to Christchurch. Staying in Christchurch on the 12th and 13th, then heading back to Invercargill on the 14th. So far, I think I should have a little more room in the car on the way back, as I'm planning on picking up a lot of things in Auckland to bring south. @Jacko - Flicked you a pm man, not sure if you've seen it yet. I should be able to make this one, will be shattered lol but will do my best to be there.

One owner and I'm unsure what year it is as it was a BMW gift I got for Christmas one year for selling thousands of dollars worth of parts. Hardly ever used as my children and grand children are sensible girls. You will need your own batteries but I have batteries to demonstrate. Won't sh*t it's timing chain or leak oil and coolant on your lounge carpet . This is a White Scale 1:14 model. Proof of funds for test drives required. Demo's and pick up only in Papakura Auckland Due to space requirements I am selling this at a ridiculous price of only $50.... yes $50 Sing out if you need more photos and indicate the image size you would like them at so you can Identify what you are about to purchase.

Hey there everyone, I just scored an amazing deal on our new 1997 E39 528i - I've had a bit of a thing for the E39 for a while now, and I managed to convince my wife that she liked them by finding this one just up the road from us - 94,000kms, NZ New. She was sold as soon as she drove it! It's definitely the nicest sedan I've driven, it's a truly impressive car. Very happy to have joined the BMW club!

Hey all. I first bought a 320i from Turners in Porirua - Wellington a few weeks ago but after having to replace the oil twice in that time I figured something was wrong. I was offered another car and I went with the 525i that they happened to have. So far am I pretty happy but have found a few issues I need to work through. First of all the radio and Sat Nav are set to Japan Freq, after doing a bunch of reading in here I know fixing the Nav requires a hardware change so will just flag that but I'm going to keep looking into fixing the radio. Turners are going to install a band extender sometime next week, not the best solution but it will do for now. The other issue is the right side speakers in the front and back are super quiet and buzz a bit, I did not pick up on this until I got home, hopefully that is something turners can look into aswell. To be blunt, I know ZERO about cars, I have only ever owned Corolla's and Civics to get to work and back. But after buying a BMW I have become a little obsessed and also hypertensive to every noise and bump in the road and have been stalking in here and learning a lot. I'm based in Wellington and would love any tips and advice on good upkeep and trusted and reasonable priced services in Wellington to help me maintain my car. Cheers Scotty

Whilst I agree with this answer, and I have axel stands... I also have a ramp which I made from materials from bunnings, looks a lot like the drawings above... I had to put my 530i on the ramps before I could jack them up to put them on the stand! For oil changes I just used the ramp. For real work, I used the ramp then the stands. A reasonable compromise, which I was aiming towards before my car met it's untimely wall-death... was a small ramp to get on the jack stands. Yes, the simple version is two ramps!

@TermiPeteNZ thanks for the reply mate - I had actually already been in touch with @promo and I'm trying to sort something out with Turners to avoid the band expander as Promo has warned me of the dangers also. I have since then found a new issue after noticing the right side, front and back speakers are extremely quiet and buzz when the volume is up. I have adjusted the balance to the left side for now. I also have a couple mods in mind, replacing the Front kidney grills and wrapping the wing mirrors. I'm enjoying having some passion for a car for the first time ever, but starting small. I may come to the pub on Thursday, but if any of the members are out for a bender I can't partake unfortunately as I have work later that night, I'm a Seafarer on the mighty Aratere InterIslander vessel. If you see a confused looking dude walking around the pub looking lonely shout out. Cheers Scotty

This has been on TM for months. Understandably so, given the price. Looks to be in great condition though

I'm a little late to the party with this tune, but finally got around to it. Added shift lights, removed speed cut and selected the most aggressive 'pop & crackle' option as I wish to retain my cats for WOF (or what's left of them). Can confirm that Supersprint exhaust + this tune is something else indeed...! There seems to be a fair bit more you can do with this software, but it's of little interest to me/it sounds pretty risky raising redlines etc. Followed this guy's guide, using BMW flash and ECU worx software:

I guess that means it sold, for somewhere near the asking price. Wow, the value of my stash just went up (again), sometimes it’s good to be a hoarder!!

Unfortunately it looks like I'm unable to complete my project due to a job move overseas next year. As it sits I'm taking interest on the rolling body first. Buyer will then have first dibs on all parts from there on. Everything else will be parted out. The car is tidy overall and has had the majority of rust work cut out. Spare panels are provided to repair - as pictured in my build thread. Rolling body includes: Reg on hold Power front windows Pop out rear windows No Sunroof (slick top) Complete body as pictured 14" basketweaves Lowered springs all round All interior except carpet and front seats Spare boot lining pieces Was a full running / driving car before pulling the engine out Even had A/C (parts included) Doesn't include: Engine, box Steering rack Front Seats Front carpet Not in a huge rush to sell and will continue to be worked on Car does have M54B30 engine and gearbox in it at the moment which will be removed before sale.

As the title says. I was looking on their website as needed some new materials and products. looks to be the whole range. I picked up some tyre dressing and rubber/plastic cleaner or dressing. First time using it, seems like good stuff. I know a lot of you guys like their stuff so would let you know just in case.

I know Amazon wont ship internationally to Australia anymore after they passed the same law. So likely Amazon wont ship here either anymore.
