While the wait for the cert plate was between 4-8 weeks, i would be cutting it fine to reach my goal of the mega meet. This wouldn’t stop me from revealing it for the first time. Taking out most modified at the 2019 New Zealand E30 Mega Meet. Photo credit: Hugo Greenwood Photo credit: Hugo Greenwood Photo credit: Hugo Greenwood Photo credit: Hugo Greenwood Massive thanks to those that have been involved or helped out in one way or another to get the car to this point. Couple of small things to sort then i can finally enjoy it!

Easier to leave the stabaliser in place, disconnect the steering shaft, keep the lines bolted, loosen front arm at hub side and center one at the crossmember, then get to sideshafts and diff.

To finish the interior off I finally got my new wheel from Renown in the USA. The 350mm Renown Monaco in genuine black leather with the subtle addition of red stitching to tie it all together. Super happy with the overall look of the interior now.

Sounds like the OP is meaning it pulses when the car is stationary? Does it have active steering?

Chucked the battery from the race car into the vert and she started first pop, so that confirms my thoughts on where the problem lay. Took her for a run to work as weather was mint. Realised how poor the boot space is for large parts. Got home and into garage with no issues so will call that a win!

Job well done by Tony from Wheel Magician! The wife's Mazda wheels... BEFORE And AFTER And with our BMW Car Club discount Nice. Now to deal with the bulge in the last pic above that Tony spotted. I didn't ask for Goodrides to be put on - Driscolls had been putting Hankooks on it previously but I should have checked. ? Details matter... https://tiresvote.com/articles/tuv-sud-2019-235-35-r19-uhp-summer-tire-test/

I also replaced the tired looking kidney grills, they look worse in person than the photos (much like the rest of the car actually). And too yellow. With these matte black ones which fit perfectly and I think look great... Seems I need to adjust my bonnet a little. ?

= one solid strong rear. E60 M5 LSD 3.62 to fit. Did some reading on reinforcing the chassis. Quite abit to do. Plate kits are quite cheap from the US. ...and the snowball of building one HARD-CORE road/race car gets bigger. The choice was either to get a S1000rr from SA or build a Monster....?
