Best Appliance/tool I have ever purchased in my life. Dimensions are 825mmW X 890mmD X 1690mmH. 6 individual infra red heating panels with magnetic wooden safety panels. Max operating temp 65C Bluetooth sterio speaker system with internal lighting. Chromotherapy lighting system (sold separately) yet to come next week sometime. Easy fit into the roof. I put this together yesterday. I'm absolutely rapped and impressed with the quality. Wife and I have both used it separately. I did 30 minutes at 65C set at 75% intensity. It was hard going first time and I'm going to use it at least every second day. Did I feel good after the shower ?

Little longevity update: Been done 3 months now and about 2500km and no issues at all, thats with plenty of sunshine and beach trips too (i.e. damp, salty bums). Only difference is drivers seat has lost most of the nice, super matte finish, not sure if thats oils or wear, but... so far, so good.

I have been sick since Monday. I was in contact and spent a lot of time with a friend who came from Sydney Australia last Friday before the the 14 day isolation rule was issued. I also spent time with a friend with strep throat. I’ve been seen by a doctor and have been given A probable case. But not yet given clearance. I now feel fine. But cannot leave my house.

The inconvenience of having to do certain things to comply with the situation we now find ourselves in is just something we all just have to suck it up and do our very best to comply. And I too understand what I need to do in my situation which is now been made worse by Covid-19. My wife has stage 4 TC and has to have chemo every 3 weeks for the rest of her life here with me. No visitors and brief visitations by family at a distance. I can now only go out for absolute necessities.

For Sale: 1987 M535i Manual (WR7470) Made in West Germany, first registered in NZ. Diamond Schwarz Metallic Leather interior Full E28 M5 kit from Factory. VIN: WBADC720X00645881 More info on http://m535i.org. I have owned this car since June 2015. I have put 12000kms on it since then. Current odometer reads at 303xxx Kms. Initially, serviced with BM Workshop in Botany and then I started servicing it myself. These have become very rare especially in manual and NZ new. Fabulous car to drive with the M30B35 and the 5 speed manual box. The low end torque of the M30 makes it a very easy and smooth cruiser. I only drive it on sunny days and it's been stored in a garage during my ownership. Needless to say, it gets a lot of attention. The car has some tasteful mods done to it - the whole point was to keep it looking as OEM as possible to the general eye. Style 5 staggered wheels 17x8, 17x9. These cost me $3.5k landed in NZ in 2015. They are polished without any curbing on them. I also have the original wheels with TRX tyres - I will include these in the sale also. Tyres - RE003 225/45 and 245/40. Suspension - Bilstein B8 with AP springs. I also have the original M5 springs which will be included in the sale. And I have a set of H&R springs which will be included too. Brakes - Stainless braided lines. These improved the Brake feel by a big margin. Short shifter kit and lightened fly wheel (by the previous owner). Custom Exhaust with OEM muffler. Servicing - I have serviced her at relevant intervals. 2019 - Engine, Gearbox and Diff oil changed 2018 - Injectors got cleaned by Injector tech 2017 - BM workshop - Spark plugs, Engine oil, air filter, fuel filter 2015 - Engine oil change, Brake fluid and new dizzy cap I have records from the previous owner documenting the service history during his ownership. He had the Cylinder head and Gearbox synchro rebuilt. The bad bits and the starting with the most obvious. Rust - The previous owner was proactive in getting the rust sorted and I did my best. Unfortunately, the sunroof is showing some rust bubbles. I have a Glass sunroof from a Saab 9000 which hasn't been installed yet. This is included in the sale. More info on mye28.com Internal Fuel pump - I have a Fuel pump which replaces the internal pump and negates the use of an external fuel pump. The mod is well covered on mye28 forums. I will include this in the sale. I haven't gotten around to get this done yet. Power steering pump needs replacing. I am sure Brent/Zee has one lying around. Front passenger window switch needs replacing. AC Gas needs to be refilled. Small chip on the windscreen, 2cm across. Bonnet struts are starting to sag. I have become very busy due to work commitments and other distractions and haven't had time to get the bad bits sorted. In the last six months, I must have driven about 500kms. So, I would rather see her taken care of in someone else's hands than sit there and collect dust in mine. She loves to be driven. Price - I had an independent evaluation done in 2015 for insurance purposes and she was valued at $15,000. I am asking for $16,500. This includes all the original bits and a few extra stuff. I have a couple of keen buyers but they are based in Australia. Being a NZ new car, I would rather see her stay in NZ. Will advertise here for a couple of months first. My contact no. is 021 180 4565 - prefer SMS or wats app. Edit: I am negotiable on the price. Can sell the car without the wheels.

Afternoon everyone! A few firsts for me here: First BMW First RWD First Larger Displacement Engine First time posting here! Just picked up this 130i after selling my Subaru Legacy GT Spec B wagon. I've been a long time jap/turbo fan and just got itchy feet after having the GT for 1 year. I actually really missed it but didn't need the space it offered and decided I wanted/needed a hot hatch. I almost went for a Golf R32 but was desperate to stay in a manual car and it's near impossible to find a manual golf in NZ (I'm originally from Scotland). it wasn't until relatively recently that I realised the 130i was within budget.... I've spent many, many hours reading and watching reviews and decided to focus my attention on the little car with the massive engine squeezed in! At the time of posting, I've only driven the car once along the highway after picking it up. A very different power delivery from my turbo Subaru but I love the instant get-up-and-go offered from the straight 6. One thing that's putting me off driving it any further is the exhaust. It's been fitted with the MSport Performance back box and I actually hate it. It initially put me off buying the car but I've sourced an OEM back box that will be installed as soon as it's delivered. I find the noise pretty unbearable and want to keep the sleeper image that the 130i came with. Is there much of a demand for the Performance muffler? I'll be wanting to sell it on once changed out but no idea of what it's worth. Any honest opinions on what I should ask for it? I can't wait to get back in it and take it for a spirited drive. I'm absolutely delighted with the car and really look forward to all the road trips!

Hi All, Live in Te Awamutu, and we recently purchased a 135i Well, officially my girlfriend has. We have owned a 05 Cooper S for the last 3 years or so, and absolutely love it. Huge fun etc... and we have kept it well maintained. It's also been surprisingly reliable, albeit the fuel pump shat itself out of the blue one night. That''s been the only major headache other than what I'd deem general maintenance on a euro car. We were discussing a few weeks back that the Mini is due for replacement, but didn't really know what to get. We we're contemplating another Golf. We've both had Golfs in the past and liked them. Mine was a mk4 GTi, the maintenance on that was horrendous! My sister has it now, and having done over 380,000 k's it's still going strong. That's a testament to good maintenance by myself and the previous owners. The Domestic Manager had a standard mk4 (most of that before I met her). No maintenance and it fell to bits. We we're leaning toward another VW, when on a trip up to Auckland doing the rounds of the vintage clothing shops we happened upon a car yard that had a few euro's. The 135 caught our eye, and gave us the "ooooh that's nice" fuzzys. A good hour drive around Auckland (most of it stuck in traffic) sorted the "can we sit in this without getting a numb bum?" question (we're getting old), along with the feeling that it was chomping at the bit to be revved left us pretty much frothing at the mouth. Had a stupid asking price, so an offer that we thought was reasonable, and that they would probably decline, was accepted and now it's in the drive way. I've read all the horror stories on these cars, and quite frankly, don't read much into all the negative press on cars. The 135 has a good idle, revs no prob, and I get the feeling that it's been maintained. The interior is mint, and I reckon you kinda get a sense on these things. Done 85k. Fully expecting to be kept busy over the odd weekend tending to it's needs, but hey, when something can be that much fun to drive and bring a seriously smile to the dial, who cares! A quick decode of the vin shows it has the M suspension and the red interior looks too cool for school. Sadly not a manual, but the auto is easy to live with and the shifts are awesome. Gave her an oil change second day we had it, the filter being in good nick, and the oil didn't smell burnt or stressed. Joined up here to chat and discuss these cars with other owners. I like to tinker, and was a panelbeater by trade so not shy to get dirty with it. Have read many things sprawled all over the net regarding tuning etc... and may look into that at a later date. My better half reckons it's fast enough and doesn't need to be tweaked. All very well saying that, but I think if you do these things, there's likely no going back...... One newbie question i have and I hope this isn't out of line, is does the group ever do bulk buys on brake pads or other consumables? I'm still involved with vehicles for work, but don't have the close ties to suppliers that I had panelbeating, and it's no secret that the Euro parts can be mind numbing expensive! Look forward to 'meeting' you all Cheers, Blair

Originally owned\built by Kerry from Mosen Euro parts in the late '00 iirc. He then sold it to Graham who got it tuned properly (Gavin Hi-velocity iirc). Dont know how many owners its been through since then but im sure its been played it over the years. Someone broke or swapped the original diff out by the sounds of it.

What’s the plan of attack for cleaning/maintenance on them? Just wash with soapy water?

Frivolous, but when Auckland City BMW are selling something for an almost normal price, without the BMW NZ 400% markup, you almost have to do it. I wonder if they parallel imported them? They're a bit Rolls Royce, I quite like them. 5900 posts! ? 99% BS, 1% plain wrong. ?

I suspect FCP would easily do 60k into NZ based on the boxes I've seen at a few independents. They're "required" to register for GST but NZ can't enforce that because laws don't reach other shores. Government could pull the pin on the nuclear option at any time they wanted and 'return to sender' which would eventually dry up the supply or force compliance if the market was valuable enough.

10-15 minutes approx. Maybe a bit longer because the wife used it about an hour before me. I'll check next time I start it up from cold. No drip tray needed. There is no steam, you sit on a small towel, you have a small towel for your feet and another to wipe the sweat off your brow and shoulders. The foot plate removes for cleaning the lower infra red panel. There is no need for a drain and the exterior does not get hot

Nice list of parts. GST is due for all goods now, including low value. It's meant to be collected at the point of sale. If it's not collected at the point of sale it's now highly unlikely that it will be intercepted for GST at the border unless it's also subject to duty collection (your parts are not).

How many times are you going to be told on here to replace the battery before you actually do it? It sounds like the battery has dropped a cell. just replace it.

Exciting, before the exchange rates gets even worse, I bought a bunch of parts today, mainly to do a suspension refresh. I want to lower the car a little, mainly in the front and tighten up the steering and handling - its not too bad but I know it could be a whole lot better than what I presume is 150,000km old Msport suspension. From Demontweeks: AP / ST Suspensions (same part number) Suspension kit of shortened 'sport' shocks and matched lowering springs. Decided on these after a bit of humming and ha-ing as the drop seems perfect (40mm/20mm or for Msport, 25mm front, 5mm rear) great price(!!!) and they answered all my questions online quickly - AP is a less known brand in BMW circles but is TUV certified and made by KW alongside the ST brand (KW sales rep advised its the same part as the higher priced ST suspension kit). I was thinking of BC Gold coilovers (local support) but decided against them due to cert cost, not actually wanting to lower or adjust the car much and potential ride issues(?) with pillowball mounts and 8kg spring rates. From FCP Euro : Meyle HD Front control arm bushings Meyle HD Rear trailing arm bushings Lemforder Strut mounts Meyle HD Shock mounts Strut and shock mount reinforcement plates Front and rear Sway bar bushings BMW steering coupler / steering Guibo (heard this can be great for tightening up sloppy / loose steering), Mahle fuel filter BMW window rubber for one that is perished. And if I read the new import laws correctly, as both orders were under $1000 I should not get stung with GST at the border ? Now I need to figure out is how, or more realistically, who to install as most of its beyond my capabilities / facilities ?

Just suck it up Nathan. Be grateful that you were actually able to get a flight back to NZ. Allot can't get back now from all over the world. Two weeks self isolation is bugger all to complete and please do the right thing with this. Many will rely on your actions.

Suggest try another forwarder Were handled like motorbikes in the past , fuel tank drained, no battery, was certified done by a mechanic , re just an engine as below I asked for current info and got “If there’s no fuel, battery or other haz product we can accept as non haz with no MSDS required.” Companies are super careful with potential DG these days and it's a specialist area with trained staff but sometimes misunderstandings can happen

I personally don't see the appeal of them. I understand they're ~250kW go carts but even then, I'd rather buy other appreciating BMW models with similar factory power figures for less money. Personally I'd rather a FL E46/92 M3.
