there is nothing to understand.Unless you are essential industry or service you go home and stay home from wednesday midnight at the latest..You only go out for food, medicines etc.The idea is if we are forced to stay away from each other we will virtually stop the spreadof it.,otherwise every one that gets infected infects three others. Its fairly simple maths what happens if that is allowed to happen 1>3>9>27>71.......In no time at all our health system is full .We gotta stop the spread of it.

Detailed the car this weekend, was supposed to be in Tokaanu for bmw annual festival but couldn't make it. 2 bucket method, chemical guys citrus wash, 2 foam soaks with bug remover mixed in. Fireball Hydrophobic treatment, then into the garage for a wax and trim blacken. Took the caliper covers off too, from previous owner. While I liked the silhouette the shite plastic was broken on all 4, and ultimately quite ricey. Was going to have drivers seat repaired next week, with new foam, material for the out bolsters. Thanks to the virus that will have to wait. Small price to pay to keep us all safe!!

The inconvenience of having to do certain things to comply with the situation we now find ourselves in is just something we all just have to suck it up and do our very best to comply. And I too understand what I need to do in my situation which is now been made worse by Covid-19. My wife has stage 4 TC and has to have chemo every 3 weeks for the rest of her life here with me. No visitors and brief visitations by family at a distance. I can now only go out for absolute necessities.

Best Appliance/tool I have ever purchased in my life. Dimensions are 825mmW X 890mmD X 1690mmH. 6 individual infra red heating panels with magnetic wooden safety panels. Max operating temp 65C Bluetooth sterio speaker system with internal lighting. Chromotherapy lighting system (sold separately) yet to come next week sometime. Easy fit into the roof. I put this together yesterday. I'm absolutely rapped and impressed with the quality. Wife and I have both used it separately. I did 30 minutes at 65C set at 75% intensity. It was hard going first time and I'm going to use it at least every second day. Did I feel good after the shower ?

Good friend in AKL has been looking into a fun car and has decided on either a 135i or 335i Coupe. He drove mine then went back to AKL and drove a number of cars over the last 3 weeks. We had a chat last night and this was the gist of the conversation. BTW to give this some context his last fun car before kids was a 996 911 that he used regularly for track days. He thinks E92s have a classic coupe styling and look great from all angles. The E82 he though looked good from behind but quirky from most other angles but he does think the design while not classically good looking is still appealing in its own way. Ride wise the 135is seemed busy to him. He said there is a lot more banging over irregular road surfaces and the car never really feels relaxed. The 335is including mine with stiffer suspension felt more supple and seemed to deal with rough roads better. I find this quite funny as i think my 335i feels a bit busy especially compared to my old E60 and XR6T but it is running firmer Tein springs. Handling wise he drove 3 135is that were according to the sellers all on stock suspension 2 lower kms and one at over 100k. He said the feeling of speed was more noticeable in the 135i and that makes sense as they are 120 to 140kg lighter. He did find the 135i would step out easier and needed a bit more concentration. He did think both cars needed more tire width especially front to counter the slight under steer. Like me he thought the rear of the 135i was pretty tight and like my kids he thought his would not nee too happy for more than short journeys. He thinks there might be a few Corono bargains coming up in the next few weeks so is primed too buy. His favorite so far is an Alpine White 335i MS DCT . Anyway thought I would post this as I have bugger all else to do.

Its going to be "interesting" times, we might see a very rapid shift in world powers. If China is on the mend, and Russias instant heavy border lock down and resulting low covid 19 cases, are to be believed. The US is screwed, the tipping point for most states to lock it all down was a few days ago.. its inevitable the system falls over there now.

And the presidunce is talking of relaxing stay-at-home reqs in order to boost business. Bear in mind that's in a country where uninsured ill people go bankrupt with medical bills.

So important for everyone to play their part in this. Wife's a GP and it's so crazy hearing about how lightly some are taking this.

Was given three options at work: - 1. Work from office some days, and use annual leave for some 2. work at office some days and use govt paid leave (which doesn't cover rent) 3. take entire 4 weeks off but either annual leave or govt paid. so, am I screwed or what? this is still early days, will hash it out tomorrow and hopefully sense will prevail, not the greed for money (HAH)

Which is exactly why its time to smile at silly stuff, while everyone's stuck at home worrying about the end of the world as we know it There are going to be some really shiny cars on the road in 4 weeks time..

Busy week this week. Car went into Mosens for a shifter swap to one that doesn't clash internally, works perfectly so happy there. Finally found an excellent condition auto dimming mirror from Ebay. took 4 weeks to get here but worth the wait and 1/3rd the cost of new one here. Old vs new.

Couple pics Nick. Bit of a bummer in rears as offset for the E and F series are around 12mm apart, hence a inboard fitment. Was not interested in spacers and certs, price was right and easy to clean.
