Well - it's back!!! Just feels so different after the driving the F30 and X5 for so long... got snarled up in blimmin traffic driving it through town and on the motorway - meh. just love the engine sound and I do think it is a great-looking vehicle not fussed about not having super dark windows - and my left wing mirror works properly - bit of a novelty there's a bit of a resonance when stopped/going slowly - theory is this may be the new hard engine mounts Jon noted a bit of a tick in the steering - found a bit of minor corrosion on the rack and has cleaned it down thoroughly and used a super-thick grease. Check this out - my gift-boxed bearings as evidence it has been done! Nice touch indeed

You wait ages for an E24 and all of a sudden nine of them arrive at once!

Love that color. That is a 330i ZHP. Late model nearly every option E46. They are hugely popular. And do come with some great options. Check the colors they were available in. Unrelated but wow does that street look familiar. That has to be the PA or Tennessee area. I am sure I have been there for a cars and coffee meet. Possible: Sparkling Graphite Metallic

One step closer to the edge And imma bout to Approximately 15.5mm on the guard edge, took measurements off front un munched ones and it matches the rear left one minus the crow bar rangi job from beforehand, and rear right one is way off haha. (Looking ok now following some hammer time and filler) Atleast I have something to go off and build to keeping it symetrical. Not fixing this guard flare would have haunted me if I went to respray. They were munched on the rears

You'd have to really want the roundel on your steering wheel to buy this over an A250 AMG Line.

"D0GLEG" would be a fine case study - left hook euro spec in a great combo of black over uberkaro cloth, seller wanted $130K and got $90K at auction - 69% of what they listed it for. As an aside - a friend owned the red M3 about 15 years ago, along with a matching Brilliantrot M325i - the M325i was such a nicer proposition 90% of the time.

as long as it is a competent machine (unlike the Merc A-Class sedan which is dynamically flawed) any drive is alright.

I assume you're referring to the red one with 200,000 km + and the white RHD one have been sitting around for ages but there's a limit to this 'trick' haha. Taking shoddy photos of your M3 on the lawn and listing for $100k is never a winning combination for a quick sale. My point is if there's someone who really wants one and they have the cash, they'll be looking at the options in front of them even if they come at a premium. Disclaimer: I have a vested interest in seeing prices rise so I'm 100% biased.

E30 M3 owners have been trying this trick for years, same cars still for sale though...

Christ, I can see why you want to flick the M3 off! Very nice.

There's a certain Je ne sais quoi about a car on its original plate.

Very interested to see how you get on. I looked at what they're listed for over in Aussie and nearly fell off my chair! I'd say list around the 30k mark. I've always maintained that the E36 M3 has been undervalued for years and it would seem people are only starting to fully appreciate them now.

Hi all. I've been a Bimmersport member for a while but until now I've kept my head down learning a lot from the posts of knowledgeable forum members. I have an e46 330i and a 2005 X3, and now a 130i as I bought Baby Blue off Dave. Be assured Dave that she will continue to receive love and attention and only be fed 98! She drives better than she looks as she has a few blemishes but nevertheless I've given her a wash and polish this weekend to make her look her best.
