  1. Bruger Enginering - Barry Point Road. They have done both my RS's and Schnitzers, great job and reasonable pricing.
  2. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-386297996.htm Yum yum yum.......
  3. I suppose its safe to say prices of 2nd hand E60 M5's will have a sharp decline now ?
  4. So tuneable. Dinan are going to have a very good few years. 480kw easy.
  5. Cool, those and the Toyo T1R are about my only choice when I go staggered on my car. Unless I want to fork out crazy money for a set of Dunlop Z1's.
  6. Very very nice Josh ! How do you find the Falken 452's ?
  7. You also need all the travel you can...... so buy mine...I wanna get a roadie, I have enough MTB's. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=382703009
  8. Generally try and take it out every few weeks and sling it around some good open driving roads on a sunny day. Try to avoid the wet, and try to avoid traffic
  9. 215/40 and 245/35 was the original spec on the S3 Schnitzer cars with these wheels back in the day. 215/45 and 245/40 would allow more options but might be a bit chubby :-)

    E30 Rare Bits

I am looking for a sunroof panel.
  11. All very interesting. The rake may not be a bad thing. After putting the Bilstein's and H&R Sport springs in the car recently, the front is sitting 2cm higher than the rear anyway so it may even it out a little. There are many opinions but most will say the E30 M3 handles better with the front slightly higher anyway and H&R took this into account when designing their sport springs.
  12. If we ignore everything else and with a 215/40/17 on the front, look at 235/40 vs 245/35 in terms of handling and stance ? On paper it would seem the 245 is the correct match for the front, whereas the 235 is actually too fat and will jack the rear of the car up slightly ?
  13. You would easily spend the cost of the wheel again to get them looking good.
  14. Hey, Yeah, I see what your saying re the 245 so happy to look into that as well as an option if it is going to give me more choice in tire. As long as I don't get a balloon effect on rear with a 245 on an 8.5 rim. Was also hoping to keep staggered understeer to a minimum by going the 215/235 as opposed to the 245. Thanks
  15. I need these sizes for an upcoming staggered setup 7.5" and 8.5". Could probably do a 225/40/17 on the back but I don't think you can get that size in decent tires anymore. What my options allowing the same brand of tire all round ? Thks.
  16. Absolutely doing it myself. Quite rewarding seeing them start to come up.
  17. About halfway through the restoration
  18. E30 M3's are not rare........ but good ones are I would love to import an E34 M5 Touring into NZ - now that would be a rare car in NZ.
  19. You can get them on ebay for pretty cheap. Would rather give my money to a NZ company though before I do that - or borrow a pair for a short time :-)
  20. Looking for the socket used for OZ split rim bolt removal. 8mm and 10mm 10 point socket. If anyone has anything I can borrow for a few weeks ( Auckland) or know of a specialist place that may sell them, would be keen to hear about it, thanks ! 10 point sockets are not common and pretty hard to find. - these are different to most BBS which usually use 12 point sockets.
  21. That someone would be me. Been looking for a set of these ever since I got my M3 so wasn't going to muck around and risk missing out. They only made 50 sets of these in the correct E30 M3 fitment so a very rare Type I.
  22. Very nice indeed. Pretty sure I saw it parked in Ponsonby tonight just off Williamson Ave ?

    For Sale

Where did you get the timing chain replaced mate, and what were you charged in labour ?
  24. Chris at Centreline Suspension/Shock Shop - Grey Lynn.
  25. You would probably find more on Fast Frogs ? I may be interested...not sure if the car is quite display material, but keen on a few laps. Would depend on work load also.
