  2. Thanks for the heads up, some of his listing, namely electronics working, is a little different to your description
  3. Nope, zero idea. but David from Get Electronic will.
  4. Did they know they’d be installing race pads? Due to the hardness, the effects scoring are somewhat exacerbated. plus, if I was installing high performance brake pads for someone, I’d assume they’d want the most out of them. my 2c, I do install my own though, so the only cost other than the pads is the machining.
  5. Info is on my site, links above or www.autobatteries.co.nz DIN88 is $281.17 VRL5 (DIN88/92AGM) is $422.00 pretty low stock on the AGM, about 5 around the country.
  6. From my professional side I don’t recommend it, I don’t offer or suggest the service. From my personal side, I’ve heard it work for some, seen it result in misery for others.
  7. @qube DIN88 is definitely the go to for modern beamers, (modern compared to my E28/E30) count yourself lucky it’s not specced as AGM (have you checked?) The code BIMMERSPORT will give you 5% off any cranking battery, ideally pay via bank transfer so I don’t get smacked with the damn processing fee. I stay away from the whole incorrect spec, for one, incorrect spec voids my battery warranty. I’ve not actually seen it go well for many people. My VRL5 is on clearance for $422 (Better check stock)
  8. I’ve ordered items from the UK and Auckland on the same day, guess which turned up first...
  9. And they thought slapping GST on small purchases would make us shop local.
  10. Oh boy I found this while i was cleaning out a computer I sold. @BreakMyWindow and I were lucky enough to be around for the Renaissance of import drag racing. This was my Mitsubishi Libero GT, DECEVR was the plate. I forget all the details, but it was somewhere in the 300kw at the wheels territory and running low 11's, heart breakingly close to 10's, i think 11.1 or 11.3, somewhere around there. In this video I accidently turned up at the Muscle Car drags haha, wiped the floor with a few, dropped lips all around. video-1603942363.mp4
  11. My E28 has original Black Plates, I received them today after saving it from dereg.

  15. I just remembered my first car Was a mini, 1275 Twin carb Le Mans. Probably worth north of 20K, I think i paid $250 and sold it for $1200
  16. Oh man, I want me a turbo brick, the wagon, mmmmm
  17. I’m sure I’m pushing shiiit up hill, but, does anyone have chrome trim for E28? I have E30 upper door chrome (upper sill?) to go towards any exchange.
  18. Oh my, do tell, it’s not the one people are chatting about, it had about 380,000km on the clock
  19. It’ll fight for attention with my E30 The conundrum will be keep it factory or make it fun ?
