  1. yea they're the same, I stuck some on my e36 convertible a couple of years ago - was lucky enough to find genuine ones in the same colour as my car, only place was ebay, i know folks are a bit suspicious of ebay but I've never had any troubles, a few on there now .. http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_odkw=e36+m3+mirror&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xe36+m3+mirror+oem.TRS0&_nkw=e36+m3+mirror+oem&_sacat=0
  2. Hi folks, had this a while but just been tarting it up, sold the convertible, no use to me during winter and was after a decent unmolested E30 as my daily and found this little gem, just a baby 318i auto (for now) - came on bottle caps but stumbled across mint 15" basketweaves (the mrs was talking to her hairdresser who had some under his house for years, lucky find!), removed the go-faster stripes it had and did a 4 stage cut and polish while the weather was nice. Sourced a decent stereo to match the orange light interior (from Bonnie Scotland of all places - matches really well and fixed up a couple of glovebox torches - got a mint reupholstered mtech steering wheel (from Ireland) via ebay and currently in the process of getting some msport seats reupholstered in the original indigo stoff fabric, also fixed the stuck odo with some new gears - will be a little near - minter when done - oh yea, and got some front fogs coming too
  3. From the UK myself, Mansfield Notts, good call bringing the motor out with you, as you've noticed the prices over here are ridiculous, wish I had the foresight to bring one over when I arrived - or maybe 2 - could have made a killing with the daft prices

    1989 E30 M325i

Slightly off topic, how much did the reupholstory of the seats cost if you don't mind me asking? I've got a pair of msport seats that need doing, cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    1989 E30 M325i

Agreed, priced about right, one was on trademe a couple of months ago with similar k's, same colour and went for $10 I believe, folks ask for silly money and unless pretty much mint they don't sell Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    E30 fabric

Yea, mine was $149 per mtr(its 1.6 mtr wide though) putting the pennies away for the trimming fees now, best of luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    E30 fabric

I got 2 mtrs of fabric from LeMans for my seats - sent a small sample down to Kosta who runs it, extremely helpful and they matched it up and confirmed they had it, highly recommend them

    Mtech 2 *SOLD*

E30 and E36 fitments are different I think even though the wheel looks the same - various threads on this - here's one - http://bmwe30network.net/forums/read.php?3,3127
  12. with you on the M3 badges, $12k is a bit steep for what is ultimately a molested car, might have been close to that if it was original I guess
  13. Cheers, just pm'd ya Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. cheers for the reply, they were at BMWorld I think, (unless you know of some somewhere else ?), txted Brent but they've gone unfortunately
  15. hi folks, picking up another E30 coupe later today - as usual the seats are pretty munted so on the lookout to replace, a massive longshot but anyone got any E30 sports seats lying around ? - the interior is apparently 'INDIGO STOFF (0271)' but realistically any colour variant will do as I'll probably get them re trimmed, can get from US/Europe but they'll be the wrong way round plus it costs a fortune to ship. Could use some standard seats if right colour as a short term fix, in Auckland btw. In time will be after a manual conversion setup if anything around - 318i 4 cylinder , Cheers Al
  16. Cheers, the advertised 320 auto i was looking at turns out to be a 318i ffs, this wont fit will it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Forgive the probably uninformed question, this would fit a 1990 320i right? If so would you be able to ship to Auckland? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Another M3 popped up on Trademe.... https://touch.trademe.co.nz/motors/listing/view/1063760299 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

just up on Trademe, looking nice : http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-1062163213.htm
  20. thanks guys.. its the seats that give it away for me I think, cheers for the VIN lookup tip, I'll use that in future . Got a link for the 320 wgn SmithyInWelly? after a 325 really but not ruling anything out
  21. Hi folks, currently looking at replacing 2 cars - after an E30 coupe to replace my E36 Convertible that sold the other week and getting rid of my Outlander and looking at potentially E90's. I'm pretty green on this model and theres quite a few on trademe that are advertised as MSport etc that I dont think are - Carjam is not conclusive - this one for eg: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-1061063372.htm is a highline maybe (from my limited knowledge of this trim level) but in the listing it says "BMW MSPORT - The ultimate ....' looks to have a set of MSport wheels and an M badge on the boot only but the interior looks pretty non M to me, any observations from folks who are a bit more clued up than me? ta
  22. noticed it on a UK site advertised worldwide - 82500GBP http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C724432 slightly cheaper in pounds but wow, what a price tag 82,500.00 GBP = 171,331.58 NZD

    Very tidy E30 318i

325 manual SE and 318 auto base are worlds apart in terms of desirability and therefore pricing, this one is really nice though and low k's to boot... if only it was a 2 door manual I'd be all over it like a rash, best of luck with sale
  24. Looks well tidy, got any interior pics? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. He wanted $6k - on tradme at $6995, was sorting going down next weekend to view/buy (car in Tauranga me in Auck) but got beaten to it by a buyer who was local :-( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
