    Battery charger

I have a dual Noco one charging my 6v scooter and the wifes AGM battery in her 200sx. I also have a CTEK which does the same job at double the cost and has 12v only. This one is only 1A but is small form factor and great as a maintainer. https://www.amazon.com.au/NOCO-GENIUS1AU-Fully-Automatic-Temperature-Compensation/dp/B08D6WV445/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1 Lots available for Noco. I think supercheap sells them at an inflated NZ retail price. https://www.amazon.com.au/s?k=battery+charger+noco&crid=2VC4T3R1YY0JE&sprefix=battery+charger+noco%2Caps%2C221&ref=nb_sb_noss_1 Good old CTEK. Nothing special these days. https://www.amazon.com.au/CTEK-Temperature-Compensation-Motorcycle-Reconditioning/dp/B075XSPGM7/ref=sr_1_8?sr=8-8 I have this Noco. Is great. https://www.amazon.com.au/NOCO-GENIUS2X2-Fully-Automatic-Temperature-Compensation/dp/B08F37P7H3/ref=sr_1_13?crid=2VC4T3R1YY0JE&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.WZ8LU3suVrQJ9O1Xsv6kxNpvBkRyCVe317e-Dn1xt8lmFmYP636U3U1lilQLpUYjHtGGeFiHZIrjc8DV_F3BUf3WnvONt-JbTkefBcOBFyDrf-LM_pUl6ywKTj5mz4i01HTTWT1LIsdKcr8_toN9rVyOmg2Myji8p1Yb4rEv4H8mSISmAEa2sYjpb55wpD6nShs5s1koTAgX3nRXErysskNwYvv_hzhWWNy4lo5ssiQWlVsp5IMpzFRyr2qPduquIpEU-x5oweGArN8PY48aB41NcGBRFegGgmT5yPWSab4.3H5vkfVqe6akk5vaU75l2rAbh8o_uj4szt4cXSUawQw&dib_tag=se&keywords=battery+charger+noco&qid=1712654470&sprefix=battery+charger+noco%2Caps%2C221&sr=8-13
  2. I'm thinking the same. I have a Med 4.1 LSD built by Kayne.
  3. Ah it was black huh. Where was the blue one posted. I am sure we have seen this one or another the same colour on the forum.
  4. Was this the neglected one that sat in the Wairau Valley Park and Sell for quite some time? 12.1L/100 on average on the open road though... That is not good for a low power NA V8.
  5. Yup it's really designed so you can move your race car around without a trailer and also for events like targa.
  6. Been trying to find a reliable indy down here for a while. Very different scene in Wellington. Is the same for Mercedes and wheel alignments past tyre shop absolute basics. They all want you to drop your car off. Not say a word. Pick up and Pay. Anything out of the norm gets ignored. If your car is old they treat it like sh*t and just don't care. Gazley promised a full Merc spec alignment. I assumed they had their own machine. Nope. Just were going to get one of the kids to take it down the road to the closest tyre shop.
  7. There was a manual for $12K the other day.
  8. You can replace the PCV on its own. A few guides online. You can buy the replacement PCV separately. Pretty easy job.
  9. I think Star Citizen is as close to that dream as we will get. It does have a BMW. The 300i. It doesn't have an N52.
  10. Mechanic shops in 20 years are going to be very strange places. Look forward to any work needing an electric engineers cert.
  11. The auto box is good for an auto. It is quite fast. They all come with paddles. There are a few mods for them too. I can't be assed with a manual for a commuter. Especially as they are so much more expensive. On another note. I think I stuffed up the auto wipers on my car. I hit the auto button and when they sense rain they just run the same intermittent timer. They don't change with rain intensity. Has anyone stuffed this up before and fixed it? I was mucking around with the features turning them off and on. It is possible it started doing this when I installed cruise control. I used the wiper stalk that came with it and it doesn't have a rear wiper ability.
  12. Just to be the total opposite. I have Laufenn LK03's aka S Fit on my 130i. Zero issues. Zero understeer. Hammer on them over the hill at least once a week. They are coming to the end of their life at around 30K and I am pretty hard on them. I would say some of your issue is down to the VAG vehicle they are attached to. The tyres are not the best but I have never experienced what you are.
  13. It will be one of the centre heat shields. Mine does it on occasion. I just give it a little bend until it stops. Right dead centre of the car though. Any exhaust shop or mechanic should be able to give it a tweak for you. Otherwise I could help sometime after work next week. I have a hoist and am in Featherston just over the hill.
  14. Older video I somehow missed.
  15. Was quite good. Wish they had focussed on the car more though.

Don't forget that compulsory $500 EQC levy that was slapped onto all House insurance. I was stoked to find out about that one. That and my $4000 rates where I receive so much f**k all it's not funny. Classic Cover has been great for me for 3 cars and 2 bikes. However I am stuck with AA for the other 3 cars. Classic cover is worth a try if you have something a little more rare or special. They even do lay up and transport insurance for my racecar and it's only about $240 per year.
  18. What's the NZ retail on that Jon
  19. I would say the Cyber Truck is exactly the same thing with a kids drawing body slapped on top. Crammed full of gimmicks. You're not going to get driving enjoyment from one. But its perfect for the attention seeker.
  20. Oooofff is all I have to say at this time.
  21. Ratio. This can be made to look just as good if less non m vehicles are sold and the m sales remain the same.

Regen braking that doesn't activate brake lights. Absolute joke. I watched a newish Hyundai slow from 80kph to 50kph quite quickly without any brake lights being activated. So quick I thought their lights were not working.
  23. Government needs to start going after companies that have been doing this. Good money to be made. Company was fined $1m USD last year for it.
  24. They absolutely have the data and ability to do this too. It is already half assed in place for heavy vehicles. Worked with all this data when I worked for Eroad.
  25. Parking sensors are hard to get here now. The ones on my Merc have been on there at least 10 years now. They are active ones meaning they are always on. The passive or reactive ones last I read were no good. Have a go through youtube and watch some tests. Many barely work especially if placed poorly. Mine are almost on my number plates where most guns will target.
