Nice I lived 2 mins around the corner in Shepards Bush Massive. Seen the van a few times driving around. It drove past my mate while he was getting into his car. Looks like he is breaking into it though.
  3. Take it into Autolign on Carbine Road. Had mine done there last week. They can also supply you with new bushes. Gave them my entire subframe to get all the rear bushes done.
  4. Boyce will have his up for sale sometime soon as he plans to go overseas. Not sure on dates though.

Really looking forward to it also. BOB was just awesome. It really made me aware of the Horrors of war though. Sparked a few emotions.
  6. Thats a pretty sweet Ghetto Gaurd James.
  7. Car did end up looking great. But I think they hid some Rangi with some paint. But I think every E30 in NZ has got some Rangi of some kind. Hell I know some series cars that are held together with cable ties Makes it easier to put bits that fall off back on. Not a fan of the sound though. Like the BM 6 sound more.
  8. I find the first comment posted very fitting to how I feel about the photos.
  9. Have sent a Cayeen, E55 and S55 through Final Touch. They did a brilliant job and their workshop over the shore can cater for anything not able to be done paintless. They had all sorts of high end cars there getting work done.
  10. 9/10 I disagree with the critics. You will find half the muppets never watched the original series.
  11. Watched the first episode ages back when it came out. Never bothered watching again. Did it get any better?
  12. Yes. VW's and any Mitsubishi. But thats the cars ugliness surpassing the sweet sweet awesomeness of the RS's. A very hard feat.
  13. I plan to build an E21 for the open class at some stage. If it ended up looking like that I would be very very happy.
  14. Looks awesome. Hope they make an Airwolf movie one day too. This is awesome though.
  15. And this is exactly where you can go wrong. The grading system is not always correct. Some Auction Houses have their own grading system which can differ. I have had cars that were grade 4 (1-5 scale 5 being New), and they have needed major work done to them. The Japs are not stupid. They will fix a damaged car and hide any sign of repairs so it will fetch a better price through Auction. TAU is one of these!! After the 4th "mistake" they made with cars I purchased through them I threatened court action against them, I won't go into detail but was purely due to miss-information. Their NZ agent was a complete Muppet at the time and lied through his teeth every moment he could. TAU deals with Insurance companies. Most of their cars are written off in Japan so they buy them and export them. They do "Fix" many of them too. Hell even the boat we purchased through them was dodgy and had been water logged. Remember all the water damaged cars that flooded into NZ late 90's early 00's? Tau had a crap-ton of these. Just be very careful. It is not always fun and games. I am not trying to put you off. Just trying to make you aware that you can still be ripped off. I am also still chasing an agent who owes us money for a non delivered car. Go through the experienced importers first. Once you learn the process give it a try yourself.
  16. Where is all the High End Euros?
  17. Finding a reliable Jap agent is the hardest part. There is plenty that will get the work done and get you your car. But few of them actually check the car throughly. So many private importers get stung by a car that needs a engineers cert for previous damage. An engineers cert is extremely tough. They will not hesitate to make you re-fix any previous repairs. E.g. No that rear quarter repair is not up to NZ standard. Do it again. $3000 down the shitter. And really pay attention to what you can and can not bring in. Don't go by hear say. There is many a muppet who think they know the rules. Don't expect to get the best deal in the world. You are still buying blind.

I have a manual conversion in my garage you can't have if you like John boy. She is looking mean man.
  20. Years pass by. Sometimes sh*t happens.
  21. Was posted in another thread. But I think it deserves a discussion thread of her own. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-261033834.htm If we had the room for it right now we would be pursuing it. Such a pretty car. Makes me wish I had got our other cars up to scratch to sell and make room. Damn my laziness.
  22. Yep. Must have a very low comp ratio with head gasket that thick.
  23. Had it once before where they did come back. Tagged the house and later shot a pallet through one of our windows. The local kid that did it got dealt with. Harshly. Then the cops dealt with him for tagging the local primary school every bloody weekend. Little shits need to be dealt with harshly. It is the only way they learn.
  24. My brother and I just picked a fight with the wrong people no more than 20 mins ago. Live next to a dairy and this heap of sh*t old Honda Legend pulls up. Out jumps two darkies. They start trying to tag the wall. I yell out and they sh*t themselves and run off. We go up to check out the area only to find 8 large darkies. We ran back to the house while they did their whole Ooga booga haka "What? What?" sh*t. Called the cops who were here in no less than 5 mins. Very impressed. But darkies had already gone. No doubt to find another fence to scribble sh*t on. Where has all the xmas spirit gone. Haha.
