My previous work experience is quite varied. Ranging from business account management/customer service to technical software and hardware roles in IT to vehicle importation. Also have a near complete Diploma in Business to be completed part time after hours next semester. Thats also where I think my problem lies. Maybe my skill base is too varied and not focused on one area. Most jobs that are advertised have a very narrow role these days. Does piss me off that a large portion of the jobs I have applied for in the last few months give you no response at all. Not even a "You failed!" email. I realise that they are inundated with applications. But how hard is it to put out a mass email. Recently I went for a dream job which was down to two people. I was not picked. But they did not even bother to call or email me! I had to contact them twice to see what was going on. They also would not give me any feedback. No wonder AU, AUT, Massey have 100% full classes. Might as well make the most of not having a job. Get up to $300pw if you are over 25 too.

After not being able to find stable work for the last 4 months I am contemplating going onto the UB. Up until now I have been avoiding it by living off my credit card and doing odd jobs from mates etc. Really brings your self esteem down when you realise you have no choice until you find some work.

Long one with the spade is your Oil pressure switch wire (down under your oil filter) If it is not even turning over then you have connected your starter up wrong. On a PFL there should be two big wires (red and black) on one terminal. And two small wires on there own terminals. One below the main terminal and one next to it. If you have these backwards it will not turn over. Sometimes if you have them backwards the starter will not throw out and engage.

You will get your Bimmersport Man Card back if you strip out and cage your Herne Bay Trophy Wifes E92 and enter it in the BMW open class. Until then stop trolling the thread.

Do so mate. Help the people you are leaving behind. When I left Vodafone I did that. The team leader was reviewed, the team interviewed. Team leader was removed the position and left shortly after. Though I had to direct my letter to people higher up the food chain as it originally got ignored.

Haha had a similar situation many moons ago when working for Datacom/Microsoft. It's a joke and never lasts long. To me it shows that the "Boss" has no trust in their employees. Take offense to it. In turn this creates a lack of respect for the "Boss". Like A Boss!!

Does anybody else wonder about what modern current cars would get this much excitement in 20 years time? IMO I think those days are gone. Can't think of any current cars that have the Hero status.

They recently resealed the road outside my house. It was an older road with no potholes, loose stones and was quite quiet. Now it has crap tons of loose stones as they never swept it after just dumping some tar and metal on top of the existing road. The tar took weeks to set and everyones car got coated in it. And now the road is noisey as sh*t! What a complete waste of money.

I think you missed the point of his post. Pretty sure he is saying that all this tech you think is newer. Is in fact around the same age.

What I think you guys want to see is BMW or Merc deal to the Holden and Fords. Which they no doubt would. Why ruin a series to prove this.

And as soon as they do the series will disband due to massive parity issues and an even bigger lack of spectators due to the current ones no longer watching their favourite cars win. Don't know why you guys hate on the series so much. If it did no longer run what other series is there to watch that has Kiwi drivers and massive competition? There is none. Just stick to catching 10 mins of the highlights on a Sunday when your Mrs changes the channel to it by accident. Lets hope the series stays around for the real motorsport enthusiasts.

Someone put that thing through the Ugly Tree Wood Chipper. Then painted it the most Homax color they could find. I say go for the 540/i6. Though you prob wont find one that works properly.

The cars are so limited in what they can do, to create parity. If the cars are free to use the latest and greatest technology one brand is bound to pull away and parity is lost. This is even more of a problem if you introduce other brands like BMW and Merc. They don't belong in the series at all. They have nothing in common with the existing brands. Watching one brand dominate is boring. There is already a race series in Aussie that involve the high end cars. And you hear nothing of it. Because average Joe Dingo who is your Motorsport nut can't relate to those cars. Likeyhood is that he will never even drive one. But with the V8's Mr Dingo no doubt has a 5 year old SS or GT sitting in his driveway. This is my theory why the series is so popular anyway.

They are just as bad as the "I don't like the V8 Supercars because they are Holdens and Fords" people. Where else do you see such close racing from start to finish with such a large number of cars. A top level race where the driver counts more than the car. And a race that is full of Kiwi's. I will never own a Holden and most probably not own a Ford. But the V8 Supercars is about the racing. Not the brand names. And other than the shape they have nothing in common with the road whales anyway. I am really interested to see where the series goes over the next few years.

Nice one Cliff. Was going to get oe of those a few years back but it never eventuated. Will have to look into it again. Duke Nukem the original platform games were awesome. Duke3D was great. Then they made another platform version called the manhatten project which wasn't too bad. Installed a few of these games on my mini laptop. Was so many jelous people on the interislander ferry when I was playing Duke Nukem, Commander Keen, X-Com, Diablo 2 and Scorched Earth.

God does it hate me. I think it is punishment for not fixing it right away. Got an autosparky mate coming around to sort it out. Cheers guys Dan
