  1. How soon are you wanting to buy? I'm thinking about letting my 95 328i coupe go, it is motorsport optioned from factory, auto, about 210,000km. Starting to think about having kids so a 5 series will be the next step for us.
  2. Needs the "bullet proof glass" to protect him from the haters. That bit about the petrol consummation sounded scary though.
  3. Wow, crazy. Good to hear you came out not too badly. I look at stuff like this and think, "What kind of drongo puts their family in a Camry?"
  4. BMWorkshop are the people to see. $180 to confirm its going to be a mad deal? I'd be happy with that deal
  5. I wonder why the diff is whining.....
  6. "wood you considdere to swope fore a 2013 honda crf250L on off roud bicke" err....
  7. Good luck with this one buddy. Now I'm going to run along before I do something the wife will find hard to forgive
  8. No temp gauge!!!! The mother in law has a new Yaris. Having driven it 1500-odd km, I'd rather go for a burn in my first car, a 1989 1.3 Mazda Familia
  9. Possibly the best spec ti I have ever seen! Special paint and individual interior- I really didn't think anyone bothered to spend much when buying one http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-659959145.htm VIN: KE79238
  10. I'm not a seasoned vet but I do have one of these. Its poos, pretty much. Good at giving you a hand massage
  11. You know, BMW themselves are pretty good too and fast shipping if they do need to get something from Germany.
  12. Also interesting to watch the actual crash tests. Because electronic wizardry counts towards the final score, there are cars out there with a lower star rating that actually fare much better in a crash than a 5 star vehicle in the same class.
  13. Faaark... haha this is my brother in laws bast man, it was a tidy as example
  14. You're all missing the point. Where's the car now, and will the engine fit into an E30?
  15. Please do, Phillip. I'm in the same boat as you, and summers just around the corner- won't take long with the windows down and it'll be at head level!
  16. I found if you cut the cats out out and replace with a coby, it sounds wicked. I chose to use one larger coby rather than two smaller ones ie two into one and then back into two. Noise was noway near illegal. 2c
  17. Sad to hear about the crap you're having to put up with- it looks tidy and is cheap as. I was keen on this car but ended up getting a 328 from Brent
  18. Different from the norm? I have some Volvo rims kicking around you can have
  19. Well I got it straight off the boat... probably the only standard one in the country when I sold it.Seriously though, better an E34 than any Jap large-ish car
  20. Wash your mouth out Just be sensible about what you buy- don't buy the lowered one on chromes, get the one being sold by the bloke who has 3 others in his garage. BMWs are good cars, I've found- 4 3 series have cost me as much in maintenance (combined) as one Lancer GSR
