  1. I like the comments section on turners stating: "This vehicle is registered as a BMW M3 with NZ Transport Authority, however we cannot confirm its authenticity. Please make up your own mind."
  2. I thought they had to be legally parked too, which that one does not look to be as its on the grass verge if a motorway.
  3. We have the exact same BBQ.

    5000cc vs 550cc

Understandable, its turbo two door vehicle and therefore is a high performance sports car, so high risk of both accident and theft.
  5. Or Petes Towing based in Whangarei. http://www.petestowing.co.nz/ 0800 738374

    Ayrton Senna

The movie about him is quite long (2-3hrs), but good.
  7. How about this, right at the end of that article Say what? Someone gets pulled over for flashing their lights while this other person is endangering multiple lives and gets off with only a $500 fine?

    BMW accident

I don't see why is important the crash had a combined speed of 200km/h. IMO just media hamming it up. For the occupants of each car it is like hitting a brick wall, the speed of the other car does not matter so much. E.g. two cars hitting head on each traveling at 100km/h have two bonnet lengths of car before occupants are impacted. 1 car traveling at 100km/h hits a stationary object head on, has 1 car lengths bonnet to crumple before occupants are impacted. Results in same impact to occupants, provided all crashes are head on (and so fair in a test).
  9. 2002 Nissan Sunny, FB15, 1.5L Auto. Was running a bit rough and unsure why. Engine would cut out when you came to a stop at traffic lights. Once moving it went ok. Turned out was running on two cylinders which was a bit odd. Someone had filled it with diesel.

For larger payments it seems common for people to do part payment on barter and the balance in cash. Cash is always king, and everyone knows that, but there must be advantages somehow to being in barter or else it wouldn't be so popular.

This. Company I work for use them any part of our sales incentives are paid in barter dollars. Find it very hard to spend them so end up buying stuff I otherwise wouldn't. If you could spend them at the supermarket or petrol station it would be useful.
  12. There is something fishy about this vehicle. It was for sale 2-3 years ago when I was looking for one and the plate history seemed a little dodgy. Currently plates on vehicle are NN2002, but the reg label is for NN2oo2 as the o's have /'s through them. Maybe it was just left for a while and was de-reg'd by accident, I am unsure. But when people carjammed it and worked out the plate change, they asked on trademe and the seller wouldn't answer. Ended up pulling the auction.
  13. I have sold my car but not with the steering wheel, so now it needs to go. Mtech 1 leather steering wheel, please see photos. Comes with free dust! Prefer pickup in Auckland (West or CBD), or can post if buyer pays. $80.00 PM me
