Check that the main drive belt is not starting to run off the tensioner bearing. If it is, replace the tensioner assembly and drive belt

Did you also realize you need the transmission pan and wiring loom socket to do this job properly ? I can do the job properly for you .. call me 021921377

Have this set of genuine, quite rare style 3 wheels that have been is storage from when I took them off my compact. 81/2J17H2Et43. Very slight kerbing from previous owners. I have all the caps and the set of hubcentric rings. These will fit E36, E46 & I suspect E39 without the hubcentric rings- I haven't fitted them onto E39 hubs myself though. The problem these days is that old now is 3-5 yrs or over 50k... and the repair and service costs done properly can end up costing 10- 50 % of the vehicles current market value
