  1. Play it safe.... Go for broke with a new standard clutch kit and new dual mass flywheel at that mileage, especially if it's already been done before
  2. N42 valvetronic motor? those symptoms = valve stem seals
  3. I agree with Ron. Solid clutch is viable but not with the clutch kit youv'e probably got as far as I know. I did mine, but you would need to trade in your right arm to do it my way
  4. Don't know why I bother at times in here
  5. Those shifters are terrible. I used the Z3 1.9 shifter on my manual conversion
  6. BM Workshop Grey Lynn (09) 3761250 ring me first for a deal
  7. Either the internal handle or the external handle are not returning properly to allow the lock mechanism to disengage. You might have to remove seats to get the door trim off to find the fault and get the door opened. Next time actuate lock and unlock systems with the door open before closing the door in the door frame.... good luck. These problems are always mind testing... had a similar issue a few weeks ago with an X5
  8. Install a new valve before it creates a bigger issue
  9. What ever......Do as you please
  10. The E90 6 speed transmission must have the correct oil and the loom socket replacement is standard replacement when servicing the transmission with adaptation clearance, road test & recheck.... I saw "cheap" in your post. A word I seldom use looking after peoples cars.
  11. Talk to Joe @ http://www.eurosurgeon.co.nz/
  12. You need to remove the rear bulk head panel & air intake vent for the heater box at the rear of the engine compartment to get good access. You do not remove the manifold as suggested. Make sure you remove & thoroughly clean out the outlet in the head to accept the new outlet flange or it will leak. Replace both hoses as well
  13. Yes... it's a bitch with five holes on both sides. Now Steve's gotta tame it or flame it
  14. Let the fun begin Steve
  15. Its not an e30. The 2002 has two boosters...completely different set up... even 20 years ago the boosters cost over a $1000 dollars each
  16. We used to replace them with Hillman Hunter boosters and modify the pipe fittings from metric to imperial to fit the PBR boosters. I think from memory they were PBR45's This is a picture of a Lockheed one. Should work the same if you can still buy them https://www.google.co.nz/search?q=Hillman+Hunter+Brake+booster&rls=com.microsoft:en-GB:%7Breferrer:source%7D&biw=1440&bih=781&tbm=isch&imgil=OHMz604psT31jM%253A%253B_VU6GRZr0YUBoM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.paykanhunter.com%25252F2012_11_01_archive.html&source=iu&pf=m&fir=OHMz604psT31jM%253A%252C_VU6GRZr0YUBoM%252C_&usg=__omwi_8M4BJ3nuarcx-yx9L4qtfU%3D&ved=0CFAQyjdqFQoTCIeRqr6a4MYCFaIjpgodUJ4ErQ&ei=B-6nVcfxIKLHmAXQvJLoCg#imgrc=rgYi43vceE6OdM%3A&usg=__omwi_8M4BJ3nuarcx-yx9L4qtfU%3D
  17. You could also go plug and play by purchasing the DME EWS and the corresponding keys for that cluster of parts. This would probably be more expensive though. Then swap the chips out of the keys into your keys. But I wouldn't do that unless the chassis number of the donor car is given to you for further reference.... ring me if you like
  18. They are but the EWS & DME needs syncing and the numbers on the DME must match exactly
  19. She was trying to flog his wallet because he never paid her. He was holding her nipple and was threatening her to do it again for the same price or I'll tear it off
  20. Pre cat only. You sure it's the sensor ? What's the fault code ?
  21. Hang on..... I won... It was a $1 reserve... You made a mistake
  22. Nor is a cheap V12 conversion off Tardme into an E36 to find out when it's started.... it's poked
