    LS2 6.0ltr into E39

Some idea of the L98 potential....

Setting up the L76 for fitment in the Ute next to the L98. Was comparing HSV headers to stock manifolds. These are the ones that I would like to fabricate... Lhd..i know☺

Holden VE V6 to V8 swap

Can I put this here🤔... I aint no Holden fan...and not a member of any other forum. Put the L76 engine and trans on the bench today to inspect for needed parts. Going to do this before the E39. Subframe. Radiators. Body harness. Diff. Fuel pump. Air induction.Hsv headers...bla bla blaaa. Oh yea..HSV massive brakes... Planning to do a 48hr swap...if all goes well.

Yea brru. Thats why the choice was a 98. I plan to run her stock for about a year. After getting the diff ratio sorted amd maybe hopefully brakes upgraded....then a cam, lifters, rods(pre historic...I know) ls3 throttle bod, induction, headers and exhaust and these things run hard +-500hp. Maybe port and polish heads ....yea definitely.

General Motors placement of reverse...🤣🤣 Got me thinking about our 333i's in South Africa. That dogleg box was Hardfreakincore. Our own M3.

We are importing 2 V8 engines and trans. The other for a Holden V6 VE ute. A few parts weren't clean enough for MPI inspection at customs. $250 for water blasting and +-50 extra for re-inspection.

I knew that I would upset a few Bmw/Euro Purists by doing a conversion like this. We all have our reasons, and each one of us our opinions. Alls well. Schweet brru. 😉

Planning to import an e39 M5 diff from home country S.A...but that 3.15 ratio...🤔. I would like a higher ratio end as the T56 gearbox ratios are quite low. 1st 2.66, 2nd 1.78....I heard they do like 80-90km/h in 1st. If I can remember...e39 m5 box is like +-1st4.07; 2nd 2.76...around there... I have an open 4.1 from my auto running at the moment. A crowd in Wellington can do the lsd internals for around 2k.

I read this brru....and most of the other builds. 4-5 months research.... I am now on maybe Porsche brakes thats going to happen in +-18 months...

Hi fellow Beemer addicts. The dream is finally coming true and I'd like to share this beautiful😂😂 journey with SOME of you. .... Should be delivered here at the workshop by Thursday from Aus.
  15. 2002 525i 5spd. 192km Drove this car for 4 years. Well maintained. Was due for a vehicle upgrade (to either a 335 coupe or e46 M) but couldnt part with the babe and decided to custom fit a Ls2 V8. Engine and gearbox still in running vehicle. Complete conversion kit with ecu, alternator, starter, radiator, driveshaft, gear lever, all mounts etc. Platinum plugs, thermostat+housing, expansion tank and hoses, oil filter housing seal, pcv system replaced. Engine still runs strong. I bought a Sc14 supercharger to fit but after calculations decided to opt for a transplant rather. Will give a warranty. Compression test will soon be done. Can deliver around Auckland. $2500... or make me an offer. Would prefer to sell it as a kit....but around $1600 for the gearbox conversion kit $180 for the Sc14 charger. ...
