  1. There's just no room for it in such a small engine bay while still keeping a functoinable sized radiator
  2. Love the idea of the OTR always wanted to do something like that in my e30
  3. If it's still operational I'll definitely be keen to grab it off you please
  4. Looking at about $250usd for a new refurb one...
  5. Does anyone know of anyone in nz that can repair/refurbish an si board in nz? May look at repairing here if it's going to be more cost effective than buying a new refurbed one from the US
  6. I bought mine from ATS Performance but you could also try mike at euro turbo. Ahhh those LCAB should work, but the SRS ones def work as i used them on my 5 stud conversion. M3 wheels do look good on it. fit well.
  7. You can buy brackets from someone here in NZ that bolt direct to E30 rails, as those NZKW rails you will have to mount the seat belt buckles to the body as they are not certifiable being bolted to those frames. Also still looks like you need A LOT of caster adjusted on your front suspension, definitely wont pass a cert like that. with a lot smaller Tyre those 66's would have fitted. Looks like you are making great progress but would definitely look into SRS caster Lower control arm bushes
  8. Congrats dude, such a good feeling knowing it's all done and dusted and you can fine tune it now ?
  9. That evo3 ticks all the boxes! Nice....still one car I would own again.
  10. This was before using srs bushes
  11. Expect to need more caster in the front. As I found when I did this swap with my car using srs brushes. Either need to use m3 hubs or m3 control arms to correct it enough. I first tried with m3 evo arms, e36 hubs and offset bushes and still no luck. Needed the srs bushes to get it to sit centered.
  12. Your the second person I've heard having to wrap their steering joints, I must have got lucky. Interested to hear what you did with your speedo....mines just under the 10% and would like to bring it down if I can
  13. Bump....surely there's a dead m60 somewhere
  14. As the title states, I'm on the hunt for an m60 wiring loom. Have a winter project in mind and need a 2nd loom. Someone help me.
  15. Looking for some 18" wheels and tyres with a good offset for my newly acquired e46 sedan. Just seeing what's out there
  16. I have used the SRS bushes and passed my cert, still need either m3 evo LCA & e36 hubs or m3 LCA & hub to center the wheels correctly
  17. I had similar problems in my 330 and after rebuilding the vanos it was perfect, because the solenoids cant hold oil pressure it struggles to hold idle, less noticeable in an auto though
  18. In need of an alternator for a 540/740 non watercooler type in good condition and tested.
  19. Most large passenger SUV's are only rated to 2.0t because of the transmissions they use. You want something with a traditional automatic gearbox. How long do you want the list? Hilux Fortuner Prado Colorado Trailblazer Navara Pathfinder (D40 shape) X5 Q7 the list goes on....diesel is the best way to go for towing, gives you more pulling power, just depends on the budget you want to spend

  23. They're all on my list bar the last one haha
  24. Well the time has finally come where i need to buy myself a daily driver again........dammit. Now i know the more i spend the better im going to get but budget is limited with everything else i need to do.....i'm looking at spending 3-4k. Have been looking around and have come across quite a few e46 318/320/325/330 ranging from 165-230km's ....now the decision is which way do i go? people who have had experience with high km e46's, i would love to hear your experiences. Im between a rock and a hard place as fuel consumption is a consideration as i already have a gas guzzler and will be mainly for commuting around auckland, but have heard some people say they get good economy from the larger engines Cheers Guys for your input
