  1. Got my iDrive upgrade off Autogravity about a month ago, it was $500, sat/nav and audio. I have the bluetooth buttons as well but in, reality no bluetooth unfortunately.
  2. I used Carwebs that are based in Akl, there is also Autoaccess based in Japan. Their sites seem better than autotrade......................
  3. Hi guys, just joined this community and hope to have some fun here in the future. Just purchased my first BMW in about 30yrs, my only previous one was an E21 323i when I spent some time in the UK in the 90’s and now, just imported (ex Japan), a 2009, E89, Z4, in A61 Crimson Red, Black Leather/Silver trim and she’s done around 45000km’s. And I am in love. Been a bit of a car nut all my life and have had a few over the years. Highlights being, A very quick Mk1 Escort, (1st car), 351 XC ute, Lancia HPE, MR2, WRX, R34 Skyline GT-T, S2000. Loved the S2000 but it used to make me drive too fast. So far, so good with the Z4. Had to fly to Akl to pick it up 3 weeks ago and had the weekend from hell, shocking flight with Jetstar, lost a tooth while eating, got a speeding infringement on the way home and lost my front door key so couldn't get in on a Sunday arvo, so then an expensive phone call to a locksmith. Ironically, I was determined not to compromise and after many hours of research on the net, I set my mind on a white Z4, red leather and silver trim, then politely bought a red one. Really glad I did tho. Got it thru Carwebs in Akl and they bid on it and imported it on my behalf. Reckon I saved 6-8 grand. Have since got rid of the Bridgestone RFT’s and replaced them with Goodyear FI Directional 5’s and WOW, what a difference. Never had a vehicle’s characteristics change so much for the better by just replacing tyres. SO unbelievably better. Other than that, she’s going to stay pretty much stock (at this stage), got some parking sensors going on soon, (can’t see either end), and she’s off to the panel beaters next week for a couple of touch-ups. Other than that, I’m really looking for too many wonderful topless days in good ol’ sunny Wellington. Pics to come once the panel shop has done their thing and this damn weather improves.
