Valve cover clean up, paint removal scrubbing with wire brush and steel wool after some paint remover. Came up ok. Couple of coats of primer and then a couple of top coat, ultimately happy with the results, will look great back on, can't wait Pre paint remover and scrubbing, pretty ratty all round Looking sharp with a nice Aluminium finish

Mate at work is looking for a new left grill, although his might be pre facelift, will check, PM you if a go and its still around Just remembered I had his vin number and checked TIC, no he needs the 51 138208 489, Bugger

Stupid cheap steel bracket snapped on the ride on, damn stuff is made from sh*t, third weld repair on different parts this year now And add to that waiting for stupid spray paint coats to dry. Damn weather

OK, Deep Breath - Valve cover gasket work now. Pulled it all apart, removed the covers. (clean and paint them before they go back on) Pretty easy find on the left bank, gasket goo everywhere and a big split in the gasket, none of it looks that old either, likely a shitty job previously. Pulled the right bank and that was good but a different gasket, points to the left being done in isolation and buggered up. Pretty happy, never really done anything like this so confidence inspiring for the next job, whatever it may be! Left side pre clean up Post clean up Right side pretty much no clean up needed, easy wipe down Now cover cleanup and paint tomorrow for when the it goes back together

WTB for the M62, valve cover gaskets. Few gasket suppliers on trademe, who do you guys use in NZ? Any of our suppliers on the forum, happy to support

Used Maquires restorX headlight polish, thrown onto the orbital polisher, sweet as . Yeah that front jap plate holder does need sorting, would definitely improve the front

Cheers, Yeah just finished it up this morning, Here's a couple of finished ones. Gave the headlights a tickle up as well to remove a bit of oxidation on them

Gave the 550 a compound, polish and wax. DAMN wish I'd done it earlier, looks awesome, if I say so myself

+1 as Grant said. We Replaced Nav/ radio module about $700 and it's worth every cent, you won't regret it.
