  1. Cool mate. Really keen to hear about how you go with these and what a turbo install costs.
  2. From memory stage 1 is no bolt ons needed so fully stock - I ran this for about a year and made huge difference and car ran great but I had car serviced and fresh plugs and coils stage 2 is downpipes the + on either stage means upgraded intercooler as well as what ever the stage needs. I’ve been running 2+ for about a year with down pipes, intercooler, charge pipe and inlets and again. Runs great. Strong gain over stage 1. Stacked with xhp is a nice combination.
  3. Thanks mate yea I reached out to Ken wedge a few months back and he thought he could clean up the curve a quite a bit and make the power delivery smoother and maybe add a bit more power given I had inlets but Im not sure about road tuning. What you think? I would prefer if it was on a Dyno and remote tuned by him. I really don’t want to loose the mhd functionality of scanning and cold start etc.
  4. I’ve been running stage 2+ for about 6 months and loving it. Ive also got this stacked with xhp stage 3 transmission flash and that’s great too Ive got 335 n54 with vrsf inlets, catless downpipes, chargepipe and 7” intercooler. im thinking about a custom tune so keen to hear how much better and who does this in NZ. My turbos have quite a bit of rattle so will start looking at options at some stage. For now they hold boost fine with no codes Be great to see some of your guys cars with your setups etc.
  5. Hey mate how is the car. I'm assuming you have your new turbos now. Im just about to buy hybrids or try to find a single kit so keen to hear your thoughts on your combination. Cheers.
  6. Hello Im keen to improve the handling and rid my 07 E90 335i MSport of the front tyre gap. Ive been throwing around the idea of EIBACH/H&R springs and a lower perch for the fronts but i think spending a bit more on coil overs is the right thing to do. I am aware that im at the lower spend bracket of coil overs so would like a bit of advice. Im never going to track the car but i do want the ability to adjust height and damper. Ive been recommended the ST XA coil overs as the KW V2s are just too expensive. The key difference seems to be stainless vs galv and im wondering how much of a problem is this in NZ. Does anyone have any thoughts or alternatives which are roughly the same price. Im currently on stock OEM mags style 194 on 17" and tyres and will be for a while. The mags and tyres i want eventually are pricey. Im keen to shave off about 25-30mm from the front and also keen to understand if i need anything else other than coilovers to do this like control arms to adjust camber etc to keep the car happy and the cert guy. Sorry totally new to this on BMW and appreciate any feedback. Cheers
  7. Did you guys flash alpina yourselves or have someone do it for you? If so who please and roughly how much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Ok thanks guys I will skip these. I really want 18" style 193 so will just keep an eye out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hi guys I'm a bit confused on what mags fit with my 07 e90 335i I really like this style of wheel as per link but I'm assuming I will need spacers to make this work on my car and looking at the specs of this wheel I will need 20mm spacers front and rear. Can someone please confirm I've got this right before I throw some money at this. Also is there any issue running 245 front and rear on these. Thanks in advance. https://trademe.co.nz/990548759 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. What about these? https://touch.trademe.co.nz/motors/listing/view/973036351 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks. I get your point. Thanks. I can see this kit is around $2,700 so possibly $3k installed. Wow that's quite a bit. I can see the dampers and fully adjustable, do you have yours set quite firm and could you soften then out to improve ride. Am I playing with fire looking at bc gold and d2 coil overs if I were to ditch the springs idea. Also looking at springs and shocks this is looking like $1,200 or hardware then install so call it $1,500. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Hi guys Im starting to look at suspension options for my e90 335i Sport. I really just want to lower the car but i keep reading posts about Eibach and H&R springs wearing out the std Sport shocks as i would like to keep these if i can. I would like to keep the ride as similar as possible to the current factory Sport suspension if i can. For a normal everyday street driver and i will probably never put my car on a track do you guys think this will still wear the shocks or are these comments related to guys driving their cars hard and racing them? If coil overs are the way to go, am i dreaming if i think i can get hardware, install and alignment all for under $2k? Thanks in advance.
  13. Awesome mate. I just bought one this week but it's the sedan and I love it.
