Ah was this car at the Mad Mike Summer Bash event, remember seeing something very similar if not the car itself. The RB engine swap? Maybe could do one of my projects for the future with a bit of inspiration from this one. The car sure has come along way and looks great, drive like a bit of a good cart?

Ahh not to worry I have a new exhaust as I completely dislike that one and think it come a cross rather obnoxious only picked it up for $10 so does the job as a temporary installment. Umm for the parts I have ordered
Trunk Spoiler, Accelerator Pedal, Boot Gasket, Seat Belt, Battery Box, Door parts to fix door, Mudflaps, Speakers, Steering wheel (maybe) and the list goes on
Will have a new tidy looking exhaust in the coming few weeks and maybe some new wheels if I feel the need to buy a set with tires.
That certain red one should be gone in a few weeks hopefully and will have some funds to buy some more expensive parts or another car to fix

I completely agree with you there, at least it's out of the mechanics now haha

Finally got the Alfa WoF'd.
Did all the brakes, window wipers and a few other smaller problems and went through no problems at all.
BM in the background is making progress to just lowered the rear end today so its looking heaps better, getting some mudflaps this week to smack on and the exterior is pretty near complete with maybe a rear spoiler coming in with some luck haha
Cheers...

Hey Tommy
Good to see another E21 in the ranks. Good to see someone with some tail lights in good shape.
Good luck with the potential engine swap sure it will be more than a interesting build which I look forward to see in the future.
If you have any basic queries will be more than happy to answer any questions with my limited mechanical knowledge or provide some photos for you.

Always looked at the one below never really thought of it at a E46 M3 GTR, maybe just a m3 (with exterior cosmetics) but for a 2005 game came across pretty majestic to the younger self with less appreciation for what it really is before looking at 'affordable' cars for a restricted driver haha
Interesting article didn't know that the V8 was there, hearing and seeing one drive by would be more than a privilege

Hey guys looking for a set of rear lowering springs. Anyone have a chart for the spring diameters of the earlier model BMW's I could use.
If anyone looking to sell some will be very interested to buy
Cheers

Hey Guys,
Finally the old girl got out of the shed and had a fresh walk round the driveway and house.
Got a few problems with the accelerator cable and in search of a new air filter for the Holley carburetor apart from that she is running well and got the finishing touches before she is off for a WoF and Rego
Pretty close to the end of this build and looking forward to driving the BM around once the accelerator cable is fixed.
Need some rear lowering springs too. Doesn't look quite right with the massive rake.
A few photos below that turned out nicely.

Have to see what happens when I drive it, the opinions seem to differ on each end of the scale. If it is as bad as people say won't be hanging on to it for too long haha. Cheers

So ahh picked up one of Alfa Romeo's finest.
The V6 2.5L wide body version with in need of a few repairs. (Cue Alfa jokes)
Been working on the red italian polishing and reconstructing the pieces that was taken apart.
In need of a new cambelt and some minor repairs here and there. Other wise 'should' be okay to drive.
Running some Momocorse wheels, seem to suit the car particula
Few pics of the new car below...

Hey
I was wondering if the tail lights were working my right one is cracked but the lights still work, would be interested in those.
The rear spoiler would be a really neat addition too
Also the winding mechanism on the drivers side door is broken and in need of replacing before WoF, very interested in these parts here will need to work something out soon
Cheers

have a few parts left over from this
and some new old stock etc
Is the rear spoiler going would love to have the spoiler on my one would really compliment the black on the side skirts
My window rolling piece to roll the window up and down is broken too on my car and needs replacing, if the car is going the part on the drivers door would be very helpful.
Cheers.

Did you paint the bumper white?
With the extra length, white bumper and cut outs it has a very motorsportesk feel to the front end.
I have a set of cobra springs that are not needed as I'm going coilover.
How long did it take u? Who did you have helping?
Ahh so no photos out of the shed at the moment. I will have plenty of them to come as I am already finding plenty of nice photo spots around Kapiti.
So the bumper came original with the car red -- car was originally red-- with black stripes along the indentations then the guy working on it welded extra tabs on as I am still wanting to learn to weld, then it went through the whole process of being smoothed over and painted white. After that we did the stripes on the bottom of it -- A stripe a day -- then painted the final pieces black with a rattle can so it can be easily touched up with not to much struggle. The lower front idea was kinda the cheap option instead of ordering a new front bumper. The photo below shows the extension before the detailing below.
So the whole build has probably been going for a couple of moths now, been pretty short and sweet.
As for the guy helping me is a ex panel beater from Otaki who does a lot of house painting with my Dad. I'm at boarding school so really only during holidays and weekends I can work on the car as much as I can -- Not a lot as its my first car -- doing the smaller stuff. The old man did a lot of the organisation stuff while I was away. Just waiting on the carpet from Australia which should be here and the car should be done for the WoF before I start doing the wheel, steering wheel and other aesthetics to get it up to scratch.
The cars I have based my build of are these two bellow....

The spring situation at the moment is super lows from a Subaru in the front and stock springs in the back, would be good to get in touch if the cobra's will fit into the rear coils. It's currently got a god awful rake at the moment that has it moments but will look better lower at the back. I'll be happy to sort something out with you for the springs. Cheers
Also in the E21 New Zealand group on FB with you so if its easy to message through there ill be more than happy too.
Thanks again

Where did you find the front and skirts.
What spares are you after. I have a few 323 suspension and brake parts I don't need.
So ahh the purists ain't gonna like this but side skirts are from a subaru wagon that have been cut and fitted. The front came with the car and is stock as far as I'm aware. The guy doing the welding added a inch to the bottom of it by welding individual tabs on.
A set of rear lowering springs would be great if you have any. Apart from that would need to have a close look at the breaks and stuff would like to do disc brake conversion if finance's allow haha.
Cheers mate
