Perhaps Lexus needs to show BMW how to make more reliable engines, especially in regards to simple things like gaskets and seals.

I knew a guy that got one to replace his old Lexus LS400, said it was better in someways but in more ways than one he enjoyed the Lexus more. His biggest issue was with the quality, quite a few interior faults with the E65.

Get a 540i, see how you enjoy that gas bill. Your 330i will seem excellent by comparison. All it comes down to is a trade in power and fun, if you want an eco car, get a 318i.

If that was my car and I came out to it like that I would probably have a heart attack. Last time a car of mine was seriously dented while being parked I had a swearing frenzy.

Just to see how well my E36 - 1UZFE mounts would work with an E46 subframe. From what I have seen they are similar.

I bought a whole new set of OEM front suspension parts recently, Tie rods, LCA and related bushes etc now drives superb. All made in Germany parts, quality as expected.

I bought an OEM one from Pelican Parts.

In my opinion the worst sounding V8s run dual then into a single then back out to dual, Awful 95% of the time, sounds harsh and thrashy, X pipes give the same effect, but are far better than running a long single section. The best in my mind is true dual, Dont know what you mean by Honda sound, have you heard the Mercedes C63, SL63, CLK black etc, they all run true dual, no balancers and sound sublime, same with the Audi RS4, one of the best stock V8 sounds around, once again no balancers, BMW X5 is the same too! H pipes give quite a good note, more throaty than an X at least, and somewhat of an American note. However, in saying all that the header setup, catalytic converters and mufflers used are the key, if you cut corners there it is going to sound like rubbish.
