I don’t remember one this tidy looking. Thought about one for a while and read the maintenance log from (Termipete?) Wellington and thought “yeah, nah.” $14.5k seems like a lot.

12.1L/100 on average on the open road though... That is not good for a low power NA V8.I thought that one was black? Sat there for over a year at $8-9k?

Tempting as spares, even the right colour…

Have a look at Spareto next time, $170 delivered for a Bosch sensor.

Try Costco, they stock Bridgestone.

Unless I’m wrong they’re on Rock Auto for $2.50-3.00 or thereabouts.

I know, clear change.
54.6% of 5.7% of the voters, or 3.11% of the total. -

I saw that for sale. Hopefully a simple fix. I vaguely remember an issue like this that Ray (HellBm) fixed very easily. Maybe worth asking?

It was an insurance write off though wasn’t it? So rego would have been cancelled and need to be recomplied?

It’s not that bad, mine went down in value about 11% and up in premium about 14-15% from memory. My in laws went up 39% with zero claims.

I agree, the Cybertruck looks like it was drawn by 7 year olds and by all accounts, built by 10 year olds.

I think you can take the whole emissions thing seriously when you no longer see ex Japan refrigerated trucks being driven around belching black smoke. I assume they will do this at some stage which will be interesting for all the egr/dpf delete folk.

That cost on plug ins must be close to eroding their advantage? My in laws won’t be happy with their new Outlander, that’s for sure.

On 1/13/2024 at 9:43 AM, Bruski said:I concur with your assessment. On the new SH1 m'way heading north from Auckland over the peak holiday period Waze was remarkably on point. Then again, given the time of year, running on the presumption that there will be 5 0 around every third corner of a brand new, safe as you like m'way, is probably as good a bet. I was busy telling my kids in the back of the wagon that the BIB like to sour holiday makers and add a fun tax over the holidays, when sure enough, a soccer mum SUV got pinged right in front of us with a laser doing what can only have been a smidge over 107, downhill with a tailwind. I mean really, what risk was this person posing to society and their fellow motorists? Zero IMHO. They were more in danger when sliding and swerving to an emergency stop on the lose gravel at the side of the m'way. Needless to say, the radar detector did not go off in my car nor did the laser detector.
There again today, about 1-2km south of Bombays.

No, they were E53s. I looked at the Park and Sell one and another in West Auckland that was $9995 at a dealer.
