6 Lachsilber
11 Diamantschwarz
4 Alpinweiss
2 Delphingrau ( @Palazzo is your old one still on the road?)
1 Zinnoberrot
5 Sterlingsilber
4 Brilliantrot
UK Sports: 1 Lachs / 2 DS / 1 AW / 1 Delphin / 1 Brilliantrot (C2 2.5 Alpina) / 1 Granitesilber.
Japan Mtechnic 325i's - 2 or 3 so far.
There will be more, and there are plenty that have been written off.
Happily sitting in my dads garage, having just had a new(er) LSD fitted.

Eg the reshelled Schwarz one for sale currently.
Don’t they all have black headliners if they are m325is? Or am I misunderstanding your question?

They have pumps and complete racks on there for €450-600 plus shipping. No idea if the parts numbers are correct, but worth a look if you get stuck.

I’ll admit I’m a bit confused, is this what you’re after?

Anyone elses insurance sky rocket? Hawkes bay/Auckland floods the cause?
Mine went up 15%, in laws went up 39%.

Seem to be under $500 delivered from overseas.

I’d be a happy man with that in that colour sitting in the garage for weekends.

The Ebbett Skoda site does mention that. ^^^

Far out. My natural suspicion of VAG products remains, pity because I thought Skoda had somehow avoided it.
Sorry to hear.

Turns out Skoda are as scummy as you would expect the VW group to be, spent 4.5k on engine work now... better not sh*t itself again, if it does will just fix it myself.
Are you saying you’ve spent $4.5k on it since you’ve owned it? On what?
-
Does the CGA apply? Normal life of a water pump is more than 2 years….

Giltrap are good, Skoda came back and said 50% parts and labour...
Why yes! I would love to pay for 50% of your dumbass part that still under warranty and 100% your problem and not mine haha.
Good grief. Given the typical parts mark up, that’s probably still a profit to them.

I used a company in New Lynn to do 4 wheels, they were helpful and cheap.

I know, that’s why I try and give the current petrol one a motorway run regularly.

She has walked it a few times, but Auckland weather in winter….especially this year.
Plus I develop gorse pocket syndrome every time I see the price of one.
-
Thinking of changing a car, maybe to a 1 or 3 series diesel.
But, it will only do short trips, like 2km each way.Plan is that it gets a scheduled motorway or longer run every two weeks.
Am I asking for trouble?

And fixing the roads and roadscape. It’s amazing how many roads have power poles or large boulders (King Country especially) only a few feet or less off the driving line. There’s no leeway.

Found the answer, a new bearing design from 2011 on and these guys reckon their solution is permanent.- 1

Question. If you do the rod bearings on one of these, are we one and done with improved bearings (?), or a recurring problem? And if recurring, how often?

Waze is great. There seems to be a bit more uptake on it.

I love the work you’re putting into this.

Aa does.

You can get the shocks (Sachs), spark plugs and pollen filter for around $344 delivered.

You have to give him the chance to put it right.
Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?

Wonder if they actually have the code for the stereo?
