  1. Need a set of four throwing star covers, PM me price etc. Like these:
  2. Black leather E34 seats, all electronic adjustments work except that the drivers headrest does not move up/down (can hear motor spinning). Front seats have arm rests. Driver and passenger seat belt, and belt tensioner unit included. NOTE: The indent you see on the rear headrest is from something pressing against it, there are no rips or holes. $300. full set. Have listed them somewhere else also. Located in Auckland.
  3. She's for sale, a bit reluctantly. Its a rear wheel drive V8 manual, black on black should about do it for description..... More fun than a handie at the movies as a teenager Updated Km's and interior photos. '95 E34 540i, NZ new. About 10 months reg and new WOF. Has heaps of Km's 288400 Fairly tidy for a twenty year old who's been driven in all manners and sometimes without manners. I've not really put too much importance on the cosmetics but have always kept it in good oil and serviced it. I'll have a file of maintenance invoices that can be viewed and will stay with the car. Some of the goodies: Getrag 420G 6 speed Blistein HD shocks (guessing 25k on them) H&R springs, not sure of spring rates but good for road driving 3.25 LSD put together by Kayne Barrie M5 3.8/MSport 25mm front sway bar M5 3.8/NURBURGRING 20mm rear sway bar JB Racing single mass light weight flywheel and 850csi clutch kit, throw out bearing and larger slave cylinder as part of kit. Exhaust, had custom built from collectors back, no idea if there's any power gains but it sound tits with the noise on. ACS Type I 8.5" x 17" Et 13. Toyo Proxie 4's. Cosmo Scwartz. Black leather, MSport seats with electric adjustable fronts, memory function not working as would need a different harness (if no one else drives it who cares right). Three spoke steering wheel instead of the boat wheel with the bloody great pillow. Sun roof. Shadow lined. SuperChip chipped ECU, no idea what if any real world power increase this would have made I have the factory "business" stereo with CD changer for the boot, I replaced it to get blue tooth ph with some generic looking Alpine head unit, all factory speakers, no sub. I've a Hartage front bumper that needs repair and fitting and a glass Msport rear that can go with if the price is right, both need painting though are some very dark grey (were on Brent's 535 some years ago for those who have been around for a while). Its going to need suspension bushes as an ongoing maintenance item, I think the stiffer springs / shock and sways and maybe my driving all accelerate this common E34 issue. Just starting to get a slight shimmy so will do the thrust arms prior sale. Has a tow bar. Also have a set of Whisper bar roof racks with mounts that can be bought in addition, they have been fitted to the car briefly but they don't really whisper so they came off once I moved away from the surf. There are a few super market dings and scratches, shes' no perfect show pony For those of you who have seen it, I think its an honest car its a lot better to drive than look at it. Aircon needs new pump fitted (I have it, just need to fit it) and will then need re-gassing, the electro-clutch bearing was making a racket so took the belt off as an interim fix. Price: $9500, I'm realistic and would appreciate any relevant input as I really don't know what its worth in the market. Not in any hurry to sell if the market is too low it'll stay as a toy. PM me of more info or a look. No money no drive.

    BMW E34

    My E34 528i factory manual.
  5. Parting out an E34 530i auto, because it has cracked windscreen and expired rego. - Electronically adjustable seats. - Original BMW 15" basket weaves with roughly 50% tread. - Done 207,000Km - Engine and Transmission running well. - Wide grill and bonnet (facelift) - After market lowering springs (sits lower than my other E34 on 40/20mm vogtlands). - Can see the pictures for other details. Just ask for what ever parts you are interested in. Or if you want a picture of something. In South Auckland area. Some pics:
  6. Firstly hello! I'm new to the forum and haven't owned a bimmer since 2010 when I left the UK for NZ. But now I'm setting my budget to around 10k and really need to make a decision by tomorrow morning. So I'm looking at a near mint E34 535is 1990 (Msport) NZ New . 25% Lsd. Manual. 300ks Also I'm looking at an E39 528i 2000 msport nz new. Near mint. 250ks Finally looking at E60 -2003 Singapore import near mint. 185ks The e39 is fairly cheap for what it is and all nice leather interior. E34 is tricked out with all the toys of the time and has very good black leather for it's age. Again the e60 is in great condition. It looks like an Msport but I suspect that someone added the badges and the steering wheel as it lacks the suspension and mags of most Mtech i know. I have owned 2 e39s and enjoyed them in the UK - i also had an e36 and I've played with an e34 and an e30. Personally I prefer the body look of the 30/34s and consider them true drivers cars. That said I'm buying a car for weekend use only and would really value your opinions on what you would buy given the choice. E39 is half the price of e60 and the e34 is $7500. So- I want to buy tomorrow. But which? I'm torn!
  7. Hi guys, I am looking to start collecting parts for my e30 m50 swap. I have a couple of good options engine wise at the moment but am looking to see whats out there before I decide. 10. Hello BMW enthusiasts, I just joined bimmersport and thought I would introduce my BMW's. My daily driver is a 1996 E36 323i, nothing special other than it being a really clean original car: The car I really enjoy owning though is my NZ new 1995 E34 520i, factory manual (I know: how the hell does one enjoy a 2L 5 series?). I have had the car for about a year and a half now and pretty quickly realized that E34's are for me. Here are some recent pics: It is rough at the moment no doubt, but its a work in progress and will be for some time. In fact I'm actually in the middle of doing an engine swap. I'm replacing the M50b20 with a latter M52B28. It doesn't even have the 2L anymore: Anyway maybe that's too much for the intro but it gives you some idea I guess. By the way I recently started photography as a hobby so if your interested feel free to check out my Flickr (link in signature below). I have few more pics of my car there.

    V8 M60 3.0

Hi, Cleaning out the garage after having completed my 3.0 to 4.0 conversion. I have a 3.0 block and heads, heads not removed, not by me anyway, so I guess never. Car was running fine, I just wanted to do the 4.0 conversion. I obviously have quite a few other bits and pieces. The old clutch disc/PP and flywheel can go to. Need it gone as it's cluttering up my brothers driveway. I thought about doing a coffee table, but I just don't have the time. Any enquires just text me or reply or PM I guess. Ranui collection. It's on trademe now. Cheers Lionel 021795306. Pictures to follow.
  12. In need of a e30 pedal setup for a manual conversion. have d-shaft and gearbox just need everything else.. I have an e34 manual pedal box id be willing to swap for this setup Cheers Ace
  13. Hey Team, So im new to this, so feel free to point me in the right direction... I have a 1996 E34 540i Touring, the automatic transmission's oil cooler has failed, while driving! I lost drive and oily water came out thru a breather, I placed the car in Neutral, turned off the engine and coasted to a stop. The cooler has completely failed with a total oil and water mix. Obviously i need a new cooler and trans / cooling system flushed, but want to know the best practice for this kind of work... What other parts should i look at replacing while i'm at it? (filter, etc etc) Trick and Tips for doing this job? Best value for money on aftermarket cooler? Thanks...
  14. Hi all, The HVAC blower motor on my car is dying and I need a new one. Does anyone know where I can get a blower motor? Either new, OEM part or recovered from a wrecked car. I have emailed several car dismantlers in Christchurch, but to no avail... Cheers, Anita

E34 535i rear end (brakes, hubs, Subframe) handbrake is cut tho $40 E34 535i Front end (brakes, arms, Steering box, sway bars) (drivers side arm is bent) $40 E34 rear lights $10 E34 speedo, light switch, obc, and fog light switch $20 E34 PFL bonnet, boot and doors (not mint but perfect for a crashed car) also drivers side doors are f**ked but could use window motors nd sh*t Doors: $40 Bonnet: $30 Boot: $30 BBS rm 203 ... only 3 wheels (ones here but its like in half) $300 Eairly g260 (2nd gear bearings are f**ked) $50 Chur 0212014302
  16. I've removed the cable from the selector lever. The lever moves fine, however the cable seems to be really clogged up. It becomes stiffer the more you retract/extend the cable (closer you get to P) and won't go into P as I don't want to put any more force into it. Any ideas? I'll give it a spray with WD-40 and see what that does. The cable may have been connected to the wrong side of the selector lever so may be a little bent? Doesn't appear to be bent though, would that stuff it? Would my selector cable from my wrecked 94 e34 525i with ZF 5HP-18 trans fit my 93 525i Jatco A5S 300J trans?
  17. Car #1: NZ new E34 525i M50 with ZF 5HP-18 Automatic Transmission. Car #2: Japanese import E34 525i M50 with Jatco A5S 300J Automatic Transmission. Goal: Put engine #1 into car #2. Problem: I can't align torque converter with driveplate to put the x3 17mm bolts in. It appears to be aligned rotationally (left to right) but it looks like the torque converter hole is a fraction of a mm too low. I've already re-installed trans to make sure torque converter was all the way in. I assume both the drive plates are the same? The shaft on the torque converter lthat goes into the driveplate looks slightly diferent, but i wouldn't think this is the reason? Any ideas???
  18. Hello All, Thought I'd introduce myself and my car ;-) Been the proud owner of a 1993 525i E34, Alpine White named Barrie since January. Barrie is special, apart from the fact that she's a manual, she does not have a standard M50 engine, she has a VANOS M52. (which confuses some people at the car parts shops when, say, buying oil and air filters for her). Currently Barrie is at the garage having her rear suspensions replaced. Because she is different, her suspensions had to be imported, which makes the downtime of me not driving her longer than I expected (week). I've attached the very first photo I took of her when I took her home. Thank you.

  21. Looking for some stock front springs for my 1994 525i. Preferably in Auckland. Cheers Hanno
  22. Hi my fellow NZ'ers! I am wishing to convert my auto E34 525i with the M50B25TU (Vanos) into a manual. I am finding it difficult (not suprisingly) to find the getrag 250 + conversion kit that came standard on the late model 525i's with the M50 engine. The earlier models with the M20 engine have the getrag 240's or 260's (or zfSG310?) i believe and these seem to be more available. I've heard that the M20's gearbox bolts up perfectly to the M50 but due to the M50's tilt the box is on a 10degree tilt and therefore doesn't align with the gearbox mounts. Is anyone familiar with the process required to modify the mounts to suit the older gearbox? Or even better, if you can buy these pre-made? Oor even BETTER, does anyone have a maual conversion kit for my M50 E34? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Cheers
