  1. My 1999 523i wagon goes into limp mode as soon as I try to drive it away. It's idles fine after startup. The only code on the OBD2 is 505, ICV. I've had the intake apart and cleaned things and fixed some vacuum leaks but no luck. I think it would be nice to see the real codes from the BMW computer. Can anyone loan me a reader? Thanks
  2. Hi all, I only just found out about the group after talking to a friend of mine who is also a member. I am currently restoring a 1973 2002 baur but have got a problem with my day to day Runabout e39 station wagon that I need to get fixed. I need a subframe bushing tool, so if you have one that you want to hire out or want to sell, please let me know. cheers - Jet
  3. Hi guys. I recently had to removed the passenger seat from my E36 316i compact to lay some wiring. While the seat (with airbag mat sensor) was removed, I turned the the key on to test my wiring. This turned out to be a mistake. The car decided turn on the airbag light on my dash board. I have a Bluetooth ELM327 scantool, but that doesn't seem to be able to reset the airbag light. I don't want to go to a dealership and spend $200+ to have them connect plug and press a button. And the reset tools online cost $80+. Does anyone have an airbag reset tool that I could use? I'm located in Christchurch, but I will pay for courier to send the tool. Any help would be much a appreciated. Thanks.
