Just had an update, it is landing on the 8th, next thursday :)

Now what I want to know, is why the f**king hell do I have to pay GST on both the value of the car, and on the freight to get it here. WTF? I knew I had to pay GST on the car (and I still disagree with it somewhat) but on the freight?

Good luck. I hope you have it ready for the BMW Club 25th get-together.

If you paid VAT on the freight, you can claim that back and pay the GST.

Cain - so do I, but I don't think it is going to happen. It will be out of the Ports on the 12th to go to compliance, I just can't see it being done and registered in such a short amount of time. However if it is done, you can expect me to be there first!

Slap some dealers plates on it for the day.

I have a dealer plate you can borrow - however I will have to be present with the plate :P

Nice. I'll look forward to meeting you tomorrow.

The Turbine II's should spin the other way. The wheels are on the wrong side of the car.

yeah I wasn't sure which way they should go ahh well.

The tyres a mixed up as well, there is a single Dunlop SP9000 on the drivers side rear, a Michelin Pilot Premacy on the drivers front, a random brand I've never heard of on the passengers side rear, and anotherbig brand name tyre on the passenger side front. Fortunately I've got a pair of 2000km old 235/45/17 GSD3's for the front, but I'll have to go out and get something for the rear ones.

It sounds amazing :D

The foglight was smashed by the owner in Ireland, but he supplied a spare one which is in a box on the passenger seat, so that doesn't matter at all.

The front splitter was damaged at some point during transit, I hope it isn't too expensive to fix!

That thing is awesome

I really hope it gives you trouble free motoring - I know it will put a huge grin on your face, guaranteed!

I think I'll hand the "Purple Petrol Eater" tag over to you now Brad :D
