Just asking do you guys bother geting certs for how low you go?

Do you ever get in trouble with the Police?

And say you had an Crash or somthing will insurance still cover you or would they be able to find out?

cheers Matt

If you want your car that low id try having it sit at 110mm. As soon as you put people in it it would go below 100mm, if you get pulled up tell evryone to get out :D also you wouldnt have to bother with a cert and insurance shouldnt be a problem

my 2cents

Yes you need a cert - no you won't get one with your suspension setup.

No you won't get insurance.

You can't go 300 mm lower.

Your car won't go round corners - it doesn't already with it that low and with a rangi suspension setup.

Sorry 300mm was a typo.

If you jack up your car - do your springs fall out?

nope they are captive. they only super low king springs

I'm sure S/L kings are only 45mm drop. and I'm pretty sure mine was sitting way lower at 60mm than yours. I highly doubt 65mm would be captive in the back, probably just in the front.

yeah thats what i have been told,

any way i could find out,

do you still have your 60mm drop springs

yeah im thinking of going to snells and get it done 3cm more.

but snell is just so pricey for me still. it would be like an extra 220 to lower it 3cm.

and they dont evn put the springs in. il see if any one on here will want to buy my springs.

oh PBOY and diablo23 let me know when you selling you car haha il be there haha,

cheers

Come on the next bimmersport cruise and you'll change your mind about dumping your car on its ass and making it handle like a fat pig. Right Pierre? ;)

e30's can look low enough, and handle good without dropping them on their ass.

Dont bother with a cert, waste of time.

My mate had just spent over 2k getting her E36 on it's arse...had way too much gangster lean, not my thing ( looked like a dog dragging when it's got ring worms) anyways got it all certed for being 40mm at the lowest point.

Paid 480 for cert.

Got stickered the next weekend.

Cops can and will do whatever the f**k they want.Heaps of my mates have been stickered even with full certs and very un-rangi mods.

I've had no trouble so far.But must admit, car handles like arse and is bouncy as.Meh Low an' Slow Stz.
