Beema_boy 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2007 hey just wondering whats the best way to deal with failed trip computers with issues with the display, with screwed up pixels ect.. got told there might be dry joints on the IC's, after inspection of main PCB there was no problem, so what should i do? yeah $850 for a new one but all i really like in mine is my date and time working proper some days its ok.. but yeah. Don't think it's a problem with the PCB, more likely the display itself is screwed - most people just go to the wreckers and buy a good unit, I recommend you do that, should run you $150ish.
