Current draw 1.8amps

Recommended Posts

Ok, since I've started using a beater for a daily, the BMW has been having issues with starting.

Called the AA guy out today and checked car as it refused to start and battery was flat. Gave it a quick check while he was there and with everything switched off, I had a 1.8A current draw.

No light bulbs, only alarm activated and it was doing that. He reckons it is either one of my amplifiers doing it but wasn't sure.

Now who do I go to to get this sorted?

its a dynatron and professionally installed.

The AA mechanic seem to think that if an alarm drew 1.8A then its faulty as it should not draw that much. Most likely was one of the amplifiers.
