I have no problem with chromies either - on the right car - they do look a bit rediculous on like a 1983 Honda Civic or Mazda Familia (you know the ones i mean - the cars that are worth $500, have nothing else done to them, but their owners saw the mag and turbo promo for $1 deposit on any wheels) chromes are crap, they are just a fad, and will die a terrible terrible death. I personally dont think there is anything wrong with the chrome on my bimmer - IMHO they dont make the car look over done or anything.... (mind you, I would say that wouldnt I??!!) and as for the "heavy mass that slows your car" - They actually made no appreciable difference - Except I feel I gained in handeling because of the tyre width upgrade (205 - 235) As for the gay factor, you seem to be an expert in whats gay and whats not - I therefore draw the conclusion that you must be on the :gay: side..... I want my car to look good and be comfortable and to drive well.... In all honesty - My TYRES weigh more than my CHROMIES!!! SWEET!!! in an effort to save weight (because chromes are SOOOOO heavy afterall) I am going to take my tyres off and just drive on the rims!!! (being lighter and all that!!!)
