HELLBM 1530 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 525e and 325 pfl are the same Getrag 260`s but with different sized output flanges which leads to a need for different sized drive shafts. Been down this road before and is not an easy change over. I have preflift 325 conversion kits as discussed. Have sold some 525e man. boxes so they are out there somewhere. Keep looking.... mitchE30 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2008 do thoes ones have the holes in the bell housing for the crank angle sensoryou can use the other way ,change the computer system,upgrade to FL 320i or 325i injection system,then you dont need the box.you can use the 240 box,they have pick up sensor on the crank pully.not at the gearbox house.
