'87 M325i - why is this car still on TM?

Recommended Posts

1987 M325i

This car has been on Trademe for months and months (I think even before I bought my car, so over a year in fact!) It's had nearly 10,000 views.

What's wrong with it? The price is perhaps a little high... but the km's are good - even if they are miles - the car looks tidy. Is it being misrepresented by the owner? Is there something hideously wrong with it?

Has anyone on here from BOP been to check it out?

Right, so no rego... which means it has to be re-vinned etc.

Must have been something wrong with it for it to be taken off the road.

I'll put that one in the too-hard basket for now.... NEXT! :D

Had a thought and, wow, it worked... the "0" is actually an "O". See http://www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=nl433o

Must have been issued as a personalised plate (to make it look NZ new???). Says it was imported in 1997. I would put my money on it being ex-UK (and hence miles).
