Flashing ECU

Recommended Posts

Sell the M52 buy a early M50 motor IMO.

What are the 'real' power/torque gains of a M52 to a M50? Aside from having a sweet 2.8 E30?.

More torque. m50 is 245nm, m50b28 is 280nm or something like that.

But, for the extra cash you could be half way to supercharging the m50 hehe.

And more potential too. do the OBD1 conversion and you get 30 more hp (so ive read) at the expence of some of that extra torque. And then you have the Vanos delete + forced induction on a bigger engine.. but thats just getting ahead of myself ha

Alloy block isn't the best for FI, you'd want some helicoils on those head bolts.

Ironblock REP.

But yes, they are a newer engine.
