Anyone elses car eating wheel bearings?

Man out of all the e30s i've driven recently.

My mums, daves and the one gus wants to buy.. and now mine (again)

they all had play in that bearing.. what is up with the suspension setup to cause that?

Front or Rear??

I checked mine when I had them apart for the BBK install and they felt alittle rough/noisy, but there is no play in them or audiable noise in the car, feel OK too.

yeah...car im getting has buggered FL wheel bearing...is a a doable home job? or anywhere that does it cheap? was quoted round $300 i think
