Great,  the little bissell is good for small jobs like cars etc, have had it for a few years and it always just works. Its amazing how much coffee comes out of things, the corolla for instance didnt look that dirty previously.. its just the interior has changed shade a few colours!

Have a hoover standup carpet cleaner as well, and its rubbish...

Just ordered one yesterday - I'll be brewing my own filthy carpet blend soon :D

Has been a bit quiet on the car front recently thanks to a long lasting head cold and the four-yearly disctraction of the World Cup.

Did a run down to Hawke's Bay to pick up the latest BMW addition to the family, now got the old's e87 116d on the drive so we now have five beemers for four family members! Plan is for the Mrs to have the 1er for her daily and sell the 330d wagon as five cars is probably a bit too many.

On the run back from HB I did manage to get the fuel range indicator on the 320d Touring to over 1,000kms of range - high score was 1,022kms thanks to a full tank of fuel and an efficient open road drive in Eco Pro mode!

Collected more stuff for the E36; strut bars (front and back) M50 manifold and facelift nose cone. Ordered some ebay grills as the one on the pick-a-part car were both wrecked.

Build goal judging on above parts - who knows

I have an idea for a fun game: My high score is in a prefacelift E39 520i, predicted fuel range 1034km

No idea what lowest predicted range would be- suspect one of the M5 crowd would win that one!

Andrew we all know you can only do a round trip to your letterbox on a full tank!

I often wonder how many fuel stops you have to make to get to the coffee meet.

I managed 12xx on the last tank in the x5 with a wee bit to spare after I did that run to yours/Auckland

The range meter only goes to 999 though because it's a dirty German pessimist.

My 540 on the boil used just over 45L to go Hastings to Taupo race track...

Easy 800km in the work x5 yesterday towing some junk, ticked over 415,000km

Some pics for no good reason, took Donald to the beach. And then panicked about rust and went home

Maybe I should get another for the roof? Or extend the chassis, fit an extra row of seats and another tank underneath?

OR... you can help me with this:

...and make ANOTHER tank for it :P

I have an idea of a funner game: how fast can you empty the tank? I literally have a blast playing this game ? From an ex-M5  and current multi V8 owner!

Put 2 new coils and 2 new air filters in, on top of 10 new spark plugs, now have a misfire cylinder 6 code coming up so tomorrow i will play a game of "Swap the ionic current detection modules" to see if i can diagnose this, fun fun fun.

Sorted the dodgy indicator on the rear right of the 318Ci.

Corroded connection.

okay, fixed the misfire in the M5, still not sure how, swapped the ionic detection modules and the misfire didn't move so swapped the coils on cyl 6 & 7, misfire is gone! I will enjoy it while it lasts.

Put some new headlight bulbs in the e53. Pretty exciting stuff

Something about plus 110 on the packet.

Need to sort the contact on the lhr brake/tail light. Classic e53 stuff.
