sunroof e30 .convert from manual to electric

gday all,

i have a question for those who might be in the know,have a project 88 e30 coupe,has manual winder to open sunroof,i also have a parts 323i with electric sunroof ,would it be possible to take winder, motor, fuses and switches etc and put into manual one? has anyone done it before from bimmersport?i geuss i have all the parts required just need the kno how,thanks all and would appreciate your feedback

Yep, have done a manual conversion before. A bit of a procedure to change over - a few hours work.

Straight forward enough - just follow your nose on removal - reverse to reinstall

will it make a differance if the electric winder(from my parts car)comes from 84 and the manual one is a 88 preface lift?cheers guys
