Into my M325. Fronts bolt straight in (comfort plus) Rear seat is a perfect fit

with the width but will need work on the hight.

is it just a coincidence that the seats fit or do the bmw designers use similar base dimension for each model in the off chance someone whats to be cleaver and retrofit it?

what a great idea! awesome way of showing "look what i can do". if i could get my hands on a set i'd have them recovered half leather and half houndstooth to match my interior, just so its a bit more era suiting.

how do they compare to the bucket fell of the e30 recaros?

they look really similar IMO.

good work Ray, wondered how the moment of realising they could fit felt. *mind blasted*?

Sorry I mean feel compared to the e30 bucket as in how well it holds your ass when you stab into a corner.

I like it, door cards need updating to match now IMO, maybe recover them with something simpler than the ribbed leather thats in there atm.

Smoother ajustment actions with a super comfortable bucket feel. They sure came along way in the 18 years between the models.

Crazy coincidence with the fitment.

Photos do not do them justice. Way better in the real.

Nice Work getting it to fit ! but i wouldn't do it to my e30 if i were to change them it would have to be for Recaro SR3, E30 M3 style.

Each to their own i guess :D

my tech1 recaros are getting too old so im looking for something more complete. 135i interior is perfect for road use and modern! :)

For me the whole interior comes out and my new Recaro SPG setup up goes in for race (more on this later from me)

Unfortunitly SR2/3's are too heavy for my liking for the track. My SPG I can pick up with my baby finger.

Best of both worlds

I always thought it had a little hint of E30 in it

is it much of a mission to swap the actual seats(just the upholstered bit) side to side,to even out the wear.

Jeez i hope not.

Do E30's have seatbelt lights, i'm thinking not?

Was gonna mention airbags but then realised BMW don't do seat bags, just door.

Agreed door cards would need to match. So often overlooked.

Will be sweet as Josh, kinda goes with the theme of your car.

Pictures of race set up

Keep the e30 heater setup( guess you wont have much choice.i would prefer a more manual hvac setup(air/heat distribution anyway)
