ACC signal for amp 735i 2004 any help on location please?

I need a signal to turn on an aftermarket amp to run sub in boot, 735i but its 2004 so it all data cables and fiberoptics..

any help on here i can get a 12v signal would be much appreciated.

on all the older cars its a skinny white wire,

should go up to the aerial booster in the left rear C pillar if you cant find one at the amps etc

but not sure on the later stuff

Not that easy.

Remember, you don't want ACC, but rather RadioOn.

Because you can turn ACC off, but still have the radio running. (try it :-)

So the antenna amp wire MIGHT be a RadioOn state, or it might be a a VehicleAlive state (ie: on when vehicle awake, off when vehicle asleep).

VehicleAwake and VehicleAsleep are different states to RadioOn, ACC-on and IgnitionOn.

I'd probably choose the VehicleAwake state to power a SubAmp. Then it is on and ready to thump when you turn the radio on. Or phone on. Or TV on. Or iPhone on.

Follow this to get to the BMW wiring diragrams site. Every damn connector, module, swtich, and wire is covered down the the colour of the wires. May have to use the Chrome browser to see the diagrams as the site uses Scalable Vector Graphics with IE8 on my Vista Machine wont display, and the IE9 on my Winodws 7 machine won't display.

Comes in very useful when doing stuff to BMW's.
