If I change the mileage

will this come up with legal problem??

Can you be more specific - your mileage already is recoded with the last WOF Check

It's only a Legal problem if it's a Diesel or you try and sell your car with the intent on ripping someone off by not telling them.

More to the point, why would you need to do it? Are you changing the cluster because it's stuffed or?

BMW. Almost guaranteed this is what he is doing.

antil33t got it. In a petrol you do not legally require an odometer.

Though if you are changing the odo then you can get them set by a calibration specialist. Helps when you are trying to sell the car if there are no dips and dives on the odo check from AA or the like.
