Genuine Vorsteiner M3 CSL 1:1 replica front bumper

Recommended Posts

1:1 replica M3 CSL bumper (i.e. it is identical to the real thing)

Painted Silver Grey (not perfect condition as it has a couple of stone chips on it)

I had this sent over from the USA a couple of years back, so it is the first generation Vorsteiner M3 CSL front bumper (i.e. no internal bumper carrier bar moulded into it)

Will fit E46 M3s of all generations (i.e. Kevlar front carrier and aluminium bar)

One of the carbon splitters has a slight crack in it (was like this when I got it, I've had it releared with touch up so it is hardly noticeable. Ideally it should be sanded back and recleared if you want a showroom finish.

I was going to modify this bumper for a project but have now no use for it.

Pretty perfect fitment as in the photo below on my car:

Will take $1200.

(note - no center grill!!! You just reuse your own one off your standard M3 bumper)

I also have a Vorsteiner full length single splitter for this bumper in 1 x 1 weave for an extra $350.

Here's the DIY written by Daytonaviolet in the USA on fitting the first generation Vorsteiner bumper via both foam and aluminium bar method: http://www.bmw-planet.com/lib/BMW_e46_CSL_Bumper_DIY.pdf

The bumper was originally on this car in the USA:

I'll get photos of the bumper and the individual carbon splitters tonight.

Someone should buy this. They look good.

Thanks Jooles : ) If I wasn't running out of room to store spare parts I'd hang this on the wall as an art piece LOL.

Functional also ... wind tunnel tested to reduce front end axle lift by over 80% at 200km/h (not that there's huge amount of a front axle lift at all on the E46 M3 .. but still impressive when considered in % terms LOL)
