E36 M42 TURBO, NOT A MYTH

That's a fair amount of pressure!

We had an R32 GTR come into work a while back with no boost, got it sorted then went for a drive, guage was reading 29.3psi, needless to say it was insane!

yes indeed that would wake it up some what :)

i did a evo time attack car just before xmas with one of my holset's at 30 psi on pump gas made 450kw wheel and 640 ft/lb of torque we have yet to run it on e85 hoping if i havent screwed up too much should run high 500kw wheel or close to 900hp motor

desided to change turbos to one of the Holset Race Chargers im the importer for result was great comes on boost 500rpm sooner and gained 3 psi off boost theres more torque and topend still goes forever.

Looks good Steve. Although you're making the HX35 I've got for my 1JZ look small (proportionately).

Has it still got the same 'hotside' as you had with the KKK?

yes same hot side kkk has the same comp end dia as a small hx35

is that stainless tube going to the mild steel merge?

what size tube is that?

Will you be bracing the turbo from the block?

looking forward to seeing that exotic turbo mounted up

your correct the collector is mild steel runners are stainless purge welded, tube is 38mm it uses a rod end tie bar from top of rocker cover to turbo then one from the block up to the turbo.

The turbo only weighs 5kg so not alot to worry about all manifolds crack at some point so i dont really care plus its being built to prove a point just like 318 turbo love making small minds look smaller :)
